    Foot.ie!

A big weekend for the FC Carlow players and staff.

A lot of players and coaches involved in the Inter League match between the Carlow League and NDSL to be played in Tullow on Saturday and then they gotta travel down to Cobh for the U20s game (FC Carlow v Cobh on Sunday).

Best of luck to all involved and those attending the games.

2 Wins will set the lads up for 2 very big games over the next few weeks v Wexford League U18s and Wexford Youths U20s
    Ciao

Keith Kearney got your first one. And I checked that with the ref at half-time when I was getting your team list!
Your third, lovely free kick out of Dempsey, killed the game for us, though I don't think we were getting back into it anyway.
Clive Prendergast got the goal for us.
That's us out of it now with only 3 games left, bar a massive collapse by two teams above.

    And it was f**king freezing!

Does anyone know how the next stage of under 20 league works after the pool stages? How many go through from each group and how is it chosen who plays who in next round?

Top 2 to go through from each Pool into the Quarter Finals.

I'd imagine the Pool winners would benefit from a home tie at that stage. After that it's probably open draw semis and then which teams contest the final.

    Dates are supposed to be:

    WEEKEND SUNDAY, 11th JANUARY 2009 – QUARTER-FINALS

    WEEKEND SUNDAY, 18th JANUARY 2009 – SEMI-FINALS

    WEEKEND SUNDAY, 25th JANUARY 2009 – FINAL
