There are more meetings down in Cobh Ramblers then there are in big Multi National companies.
In all the threads and mettings since this has blown up I have not seen or heard any constructive ideas.
When City's problems came out ..the supporters banded together and set up a commette and organised meetings to try and sort out there problems and they are raising money.
All this blame game is going to get your club nowhere, instead of pulling together your pulling in different directions.
If you do not get it sorted indtead of hanging your dirty washing out for everyone to see, you wont ahve a club /

I took this off of the other site, Don Ramo you are very very much mistaken. The tax man doesn't hang around when waiting for money, I'm supprised he has done for this long so far. How can the club get a mortgage? How do we pay it back? We don't have the income with the present model or systems in place to pay a mortgage.
The ground would need to be sold and leased back to free up the value of it IMO. Not my prefered option BTW.
With the right systems, management, accountability and knowledge in place the club can have a bright future but serious action needs to be taken immediately.
Please, please, please do not be under the illusion that the tax man cannot shut the gates of the club.
We might have assets worth millions (If someone wanted to but the land which isn't a very viable option in the present climate). What we need is cash and cash flow.

Just back from holidays and I see things are getting worse and worse.

Don you are indeed correct, the tax man was indeed paid, however I bet you weren't informed that the cheque bounced back out again!!

Bottom line guys, there is NO money in the accounts and we are been deceived again.

Showing loyalty in the Chairman is admirable, but at this stage to the detriment to the club.

Let the meeting go ahead. Afterall it has been called by members and if the Chairman isn't aware of the members wants, then he has to go now.

Judging from last nites meeting some of his closest allies and campaigners for his recent vote of confidence are beginning to change their opinion of of the Chairman!.
Is there a split in the camp?. If so how has this come around and wat has opened their eyes???
