Mount beat Carrigaline 2-0 today, Brian McCarthy and Beech. Slatts back for 60mins of it. Good days work all round
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

cork had majority of possesion but based on chances we could have easily won by more might not have been a very strong cork team but it is a great result for us as were only a junior club.would fancy us to make the final

Good win for the Pike, should be a stroll in the semi for them, neither Rockmount or Mayfield are any good at all. I'd rest the first team in anticipation of Clonmel in the final if I were yee....

heading out to the Rochmount vs Mayfield game after, be very intresting to see who Billy starts. For years he has used this a weekend to rest a few but with Cork City and Cobh out and none of his superstars crying injury!!! it will make for an intresting game

Rockmount are possibly the strongest team in the MSL, they have a huge squad of the creme de la creme of the best players in Cork.
Clifford is our resident expert who will be on soon to lull you into a false sense of security.
For the record Rockmount 2-1 Mayfield Utd this morning

Of course you stand a chance, that's the beauty of footie. From what I know Pike are one of the biggest and best Junior clubs in the country and I'd always consider the cream of Junior Lim lg as being excellent.

It will probably depend on what fixtures are before and after this semi final. Mount play every game to win, but we are trying to make up 5/6 league games on the leaders and trying to reatain the FAI Intermediate cup. If the semi final in the Intermediate is before or after this one then we might rest some players. Having said that our squad is stronger than it's been in a long while so we'll have no excuses. If Pike come out on top they will be sure that it was earned. As I'm sure will be the case for Rockmount.
