    Would I be right saying...

that that Lithuanian guy Bohs signed was playing tonight in their 3-0 victory away to Romania. The number 4 looks the image of him. Eurosport now.

Caught the end of the highlights on Eurosport and was thinking it was him. Was that Alan Kelly reffing it as well? That can't have happened too often - an Irish ref reffing a World Cup qualifier with an eL player in the game.

Aye - probably the first time it's happened. Watched the game on the Internet (thank the Lord for streaming technology) - have to say all four officials did the job well and represented the League well enough

    International! International!
When was the last time an EL player scored in an international?

    Wait a minute...Lithuania beat Romania 3-0...away?

That's got to be a big shock.

Aye, Celtic bookmaker were giving Lithuania odds of 10-1 ... I can only imagine what odds they were giving for a 0-3.

Kalonas is a class above most players playing in this league. I hope that Fenlon is given the scope to sign this player on a longer term deal than the 6 months he got when he arrived. This is the type of player we need in our teams if Irish teams are to make any kind of waves in Europe. Pat's have Keith Fahy, Bohs have Kalonas now (and even if he - Kalonas - goes to England in January, Fenn is up there with the best of them!).

    Super goal by the way!

Just saw those highlights. It's strange to see Alan Kelly in such a different setting.
    Really good goal by Kalonas.
Romania were missing Chivu and Mutu. Without them they were a class lower than their usual standard.

Some SLigo player scored for Benin too I think, he can't afford the flight back to Sligo though

Oh right, maybe he just played then. Had to go half way through the article in the paper.

Yeah he played. He plays right back for his country so less chance of him scoring...although very little chance of him scoring up front for us too
