After 2 all Cork finals out of the last 3, the FAI have done a great job this year in avoiding another one.
Jesus they really have done well haven't they? Talk about fixing the bloody thing.

Happy to be at home, not happy to be playing another familiar side.
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

    Ringmahon 3:2 UCD AFC
    James Cummins Niall Daly (2)
    Derek Remington (2)

UCD leading 2-1 shortly after half-time. Ringmahon won it with an 85th and injury-time goals. Very competitive clean game.
Ringmahon made us feel very welcome and I'd like to wish them all the best for the rest of the season.

Only caught the second half. Newtown Rngs (second tier lsl) were 1:0 up. But a very nervy opening tothe second half from them. They still got a break-away goal after an hour after a good run by 'Ozzie' (?). Bluebell kept up the pressure. From a 'Town throw in United scored. With ten minutes left a newtown full back got a second yellow and United scored the equaliser from the resulting free kick. They had time to have a goal disallowed in the closing minutes.
Bluebell would be expected to win the replay.

Mount beat Blarney 1-0 in another classic Rockmount performance. We totally controlled the game from start to finish and credit due to Blarney for holding out under pressure in the first half. Ross O Callaghan scored early in the second half and that allowed Mount see out the game in typical determined style.

Last gasp free by Blarney a whisker past the post was about all they could muster.

    Roll on the semis.

    Brilliant !
If Mount had a website then you'd have to do all the match reports.

Where are Newtown rangers from and do they have a hope v Bluebell?

Assumed it would be Dublin venue for the final as they have tilted the draw and everything else towards wrecking the Cork dominance this season. Up to us to sort it out and bring it home again.

Newtown Rangers are from Tallaght. They play up in the mountains in a place called Farrell Park. However I think they lost that game against Bluebell 3-0.

Rockmount lost 1-0 today in the semi final. Bluebell had a man sent off and scored from a corner almost straight away. Free header from a set piece. Didn't happen for Mount on the day. Never got playing to our best.

Lacklustre way to go out. Bluebell no great shakes, interesting to see if they go on and win it. Dubs get their way in the end, no Cork teams left.
