    Attendance for Drogheda match

For people not able to travel last night, can you give us some idea of how large the crowd was and was it a bit occasion and most importantly did it generate a lot of money.

    attendance at game

a bit disappointing we expected a bigger crowd but if rory's figure of 1800 is correct the club would have made a few extra bob. there was also a county championship on in marcievitz park that was atteneded by approx 1000 so that would have taken a few away. also a lot of young people were at that festival in laois. i would say within the next week the club will issue a statement regarding the future of sligo rovers. everybody keep the fingers crossed

    Attendance for Drogheda match

Thanks Red Arrow for supplying some information on Saturday night. There are many supporters in Dublin and elsewhere who are supporting SR financially and the Sligo Rovers Forum should be updating the position as a motivation to all supporters. These are critical times but if everybody gets the feeling we are all working together, then a good result can be the outcome.

its a pity sligo gaa were playing the same evening, that cost us nearly an extra 1000 people in attendance, there isnt one next friday is there . Anyways financial siuation or no, these games usually attract big attendances, the time we played them in our 2nd home game this season there was a good attendance, hopefully more will turn up.
