Not sure how you racked up 20 posts without a shot across the bows WD but lay off the Nokia speak or be reported ...choices, choices.

Gotta agree...Zinedine has given sterling service down the years. He might never set the world alight, but he'll always stand up and be counted. Hopefully they can give him a mask like Gary Mabbutt had a few years back when fash the bash tried to rearrange his face for him. If he plays it'll be something like his 1,057th consecutive competitive international for the boysingreen...that is something to be proud of.

Any idea what's happening re. tickets yet?
The Germans are disputing it. Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunct of non-naturalistic ethics, Marx is claiming it was offside.

Bring Delaney in instead of Kilbane and leave O'Shea where he is. As much as I agree with shakermaker regarding the merits or lack thereof of the inclusion of JOS the sad fact of the matter is that we have nobody better in the current squad to replace him at centre back. An unfit Paul McShane lacking any sharpness having played no football this season is the stuff of horror movies.

I want Kilbane to play. You know what you get, good solid performance. I would have to reach for the valium if McShane is playing.

I dont want to be negative but if you had McShane and O`Shea in a back four you would need the valium.

the last time we played McShane and O'Shea in a back four, we drew with the Czechs. But for a mistake by O'Shea, we would have won, and McShane was MOTM.

They partnered each other at CB for the Cyprus game at home too. Dunne was suspended.

This nonsense with regard to Delaney of "giving him a chance" in a major world cup qualifier away from home is insane. I mean what the hell are you thinking giving some unproven QPR scrub a crucial position on our team over an 88 capped reliable servant???
This isn't a friendly against the reserves, this is the real deal. If Delaney decieded to bottle it even just once during the game he could screw over our entire campaign, this is not the time to be messing around with selections.

Coming from you i will take your insult on Delaney with a pinch of salt, but wtf is a scrub supposed to be?

henderson, mcshane and oshea were all at fault for that goal

I'll blame O'Shea all day and all night for that goal. He passed the ball back to the Czechs, the turned his back on the free kick taker. McShane was still out of position, and Henderson had no time to organise a wall. One quickly taken free kick later (with O'Shea still not facing the ball) and Carew was one on one with McShane.

Your reference to Carew being involved sums up why your memory is not the best as to what happened..the real culprits were McShane firstly because he didn't close down Koller (Carew) and Colgan who demonstrated in that moment why he's never had a career at top level by getting his angles all wrong.

look at the team we put out against the Czech's in that home game (ps who's Colgan Calcio?!):

    Republic of Ireland 4-4-1-1 Henderson; Kelly, McShane, O'Shea, Finnan; Carsley·, Douglas·, Kilbane· (Alan O'Brien, 79), Duff; A Reid (Quinn, 71); Keane.

only 4 (in bold) look like they will play in the double header.

Given, Finnan, Dunne, O'Shea, Kilbane, McGeady, S Reid, Whelan, Hunt, Keane and Doyle looks a lot stronger on paper.

It was Henderson Calcio. Not so smug now
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
