don't take that list as anything official, it's just my opinion. Sammon's on a good scoring run at the moment, and if Stokes deserves a place for scoring 4 times this season, why doesn't Sammon for scoring 6 (ok, 3 were against Airdrie), or even Adam Rooney for scoring 6?

Fair enough, I didn't know he'd scored six goals it's a good return. Though I'd imagine Sammon would still have to prove it at a higher level (in Scotland or elsewhere) before being in with a chance.

At who's expense is also interesting, bearing in mind Wilson and Coleman were added to the current squad?? I don't think he'll bring in Stokes or Ephram... With the exception of Hunt, any and none of the others highlighted in bold are likely knowing Trapp!!!
I pity the fool!.... But suggest ways that he might improve himself.

Looks like Tet's list has gathered momentum and become more official.

He does play in the highest league in Scotland. Surely that's up there with playing for Cardiff or Reading up front.

The defences Cardiff and Reading come up against are far meaner than those in Scotland's Premier Division imo (with obvious exceptions).

Because a subjective assessment might be that Stokes is a better player, and because Stokes is proven at SPL level over a prolonged period?

Well Cillian Sheridan got a call up without scoring regularly in any league so Sammon cant be ruled out

think I'm going to have to edit the original post, I don't think Sammon or Rooney will be called up, just that they're form in recent weeks means they're possibilities

Agree with that for Norway. Would like to see O'Hara added in time for the Celtic Cup.....maybe even Naughton and Noble too.

I think Naughton will join us if he is approached, I would like to see Simon Cox ( i know he is going through a bad patch but I have a good feeling about him )

Would be nice for Naughton to declare but do we need him? Would he get in the squad? Can't see him usurping O'Shea, Foley, Kelly and Coleman. Unless he can operate on the left too.

Personally I'd like to see Walters, Ward, Wilson, McCarthy, Coleman and Clark with match-time for all if possible. Can't see Trap loading the decks with loads of new personnel though.

Based on previous friendlies i'd say the most he'll blood will be 3. I'm seeing Wilson, McCarthy and probably Coleman. He'll defo try a new striker too which could be stokes or walters. Would be interesting to see walters/stokes at the same time.
