Runner up pool 2 is Limerick.

Was it an open draw or pre determined? As if open draw strange that all the teams drawn in quarter final and semi final close together so those who placed each other in groups could play in semi final

It looks predetermined. The quarters are group 1 v group 2 and group 3 v group 4.

Are the quarter finals this weekend?

And Limerick will be almost as busy: home to Finn Harps friday night, U20s away to UCD on saturday afternoon, then Liverpool Legends match on sunday.
    Fight the good fight!

I'm informed UCD won 7-6 on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

    UCD 2:2 Limerick FC

One of the longest matches in UCD's history. Sean Houston got an early goal and after a Keth Ward missed peno in the second half, Gavin Falconer got a second. Limerick raised their game after a couple of subs and got back to two-all midway through the half.
The heavens then opened the heavy rain turned to hail and Rhona Daly took both teams off for over 15 minutes. Both teams tried to win it after that. But the stoppage probably affected the momentum of both sides.
Went to penos and Danny Fallon got the winner for UCD just before 17:00 nearly 3hrs after kick-off.
