if the FAI get a negative on them, they should try get a rule change like Algeria did. A simple change in the wording of the rule to "citizen or entitled to citizenship", something to that effect. I can't image many associations would object to that...

both of Johansson's goals are in the highlights here

Does the commentator refer to him as "Sweden's Ryan Johansson" at 0:40? I don't speak German, so I can't tell

There's extended highlights on Bayern's website here: https://fcbayern.com/fcbayerntv/de/v...die-highlights
Johansson first goal, at 2:38, is much more impressive than what you see in the twitter highlights

That lad had a similar tweet back in September saying a decision was imminent. Pinch of salt and all that.

Louie Barry and CJ Egan Riley named in England's U17 squad for their qualifiers next week: http://www.thefa.com/news/2019/nov/0...epublic-081119
Also Karamoko Dembele is included, I thought he was with Scotland?

A few people mentioned Manchester City's Thomas Doyle in the thread, he's named in the England U19 squad: http://www.thefa.com/news/2019/nov/0...s-squad-081119

I think England get a by/bye (sp?) to the elite stage, so they’re actually friendlies rather than qualifiers. Delap is injured which is why he is not involved. I suggest the FAI use the 4 months they have to get Barry, Riley and Delap passports, so we don’t end up with another Johansson / Crowley situation in a few years time

Can you be sure they want passports or actually want to play for the Republic of Ireland . Ya can hardly get them passports against their will .

We should start using Brexit as an inducement. Hasn't Ian Paisley Jnr got an Irish passport now?

Are the 2 Ramsey lads from villa brothers? Amazing for the family if they are. Interesting they have 2 of their 19s keepers playing in non league on loan cant see that bringing on your passing and ball skills to be a modern footballing keeper.

England have called Dublin born Dennis Cirkin into their under 18 squad. He's lived there since he was three, so qualifies under residency, but I thought he was going to play for Slovakia?
