As are O Neills, Umbro and everyone else it seems...or is it just for the EL.

No pics yet. We're having a special edition cup final jersey so Id say thats pushing back the release of the other one a while

The only issue i'd have is they do tend to be a rather tight fitting jersey and this could be an issue for some of us.
250K over 2 years is alright though.

Not sure if we will change any jerseys yet. Theres an issue around our sponsors so no decision has been taken regarding a new shirt. It will defo be O'Neills. The leisurewear, polo,Tshirt, hoodie, jackets etc will no longer have 3 stripes and will be from a new range. As regards an international merchandise division yes we will have one. It amazes me that other clubs dont bother. That said it can be quite difficult and time consuming to set up. Were nearly there though!

WUFC signed a 3 year deal with Italian firm Errea. New stock set hit the shops in time for the Xmas market.

The stuff you get won't ever see Italy mate. My sunday league side have had errea gear the past 5/6 years. Quality is up and down...

In all fairness no teams kits are made in Italy. There are a number of factories in The far East and Eastern Europe that make the bulk of the kits. Bohs kits this year were made in England and the replicas were made in Romania.

Yeah and Bohs kit weren't even Diadora made, just had a Diadora badge on it.

I was just poitning out the folly in saying "italian form" when everyone knows the deal is just with a sportswear company in Ireland under license from Errea

What do you mean werent made by Diadora? Every company appoints manufacturers to make their products and I mean EVERY company. Bohs shirts were designed and made by Diadora UK in the same way as they do the Scotland kit and the same way Umbro do the England kits Nike do the Brazil kits etc.

Errea are an Italian company thats what he said in the post not that the shirts were made there

    We're changing to masita.
PF sports gear looked the bizz but trying to get stock for the club-shop was a 'mare. They sent wrong gear in some cases, wrong sponsors printed on tracksuits, etc.
Masita done our jersey for the Celtic game, seemed very professional and were keen to take us on board. Jersey is the same as a German teams, ill try to get the link. www.masita.com has the general idea. Blue with White trim and visa verse for the away.

The deal with Diadora was not the same as Scotland deal. Have you compared the quality of Bohs kit to the quality of any other Diadora kit. Even the designs re completely different. I can't recall the exact name of the company that "uses" Diadora.I have a friend in the industry.

Oh and Irish clubs don't deal with Umbro either, they deal with Top Lion

The deal is with an Irish company, not the Italian company. It'll be either Inspire Sport or Sports Direct

Some of the away kits should get a run out in the league next season anyway. There are now 3 teams in the top flight who wear maroon or a variation of it. Galway, Drogheda and Cobh.

In the top leagues they do. The rest get the franchised stuff. Its usually not a problem. The "Umbro" stuff is as good as anything.

I can assure you the same designer (Natalie Hough) designed both Scotland and Bohs kits for Diadora. in fact that year Diadora Italy were so pleased with her designs that they got her to do AS Romas kits as well.

The company you are referring to was MY company so your friend is talking b****X. We didnt manufacture 1 product under the Diadora brand name (or any oher brand name) all product was either custom made for the clubs or came from the european catalogue range.

Again he said Errea are an Italian company which they are. Theyre deal will of course be through one of the companys you mentioned but I would imagine that the kit will come from Erreas european catalogue.

Top Lion are the Licensee fro Umbro in Ireland and as part of thta deal can manufacture product. The product has to be made in an Umbro approved factory to Umbro specs and quality.

Apologies so, and a severe admonishment for my friend.

Still, your kit was ****. Both in feel and look.
