very good win for pike this morning good clean game.the carew park supporters seemed to be more upset that pike won than the balla lads they really hate to see pike winning they even gave balla their pitch so it would not go to the pike pitch it could of got tore to bits with all the rain we had (if carew put more time into their own team and not how to stop pike from winning things they be better off)

Just to clear things up for some small minded people..Balla came to us for the use of our Pitch and Balla got the Gate. There was a fee to rent the Pitch but minimum compared to what a lot of the Clubs around are charging. Carew have a good sporting relationship with Balla and no matter who they were playing today Carew would have been behind them.

That's a bit harsh, dropping the young fella for no reason, isn't that why he left Fairview?

How do you know that there was no reason??
    stop trying to stir it!!!!.
it is a squad game and that involves giving players other players a chance..

Not trying to stir it at all, would like to see the Boro do well, good honest club. All I'm saying is that's why he left Fairview, and ye could do with not losing him

    Foot.ie!

    St.Paul's 0-3 Star Rovers

Star led 3 nil after 25 mins (goals from Richie Flynn, Mark McDonnell & Thomas Butler), and were cruising, when the St.Paul's players and sideline started to abuse the ref, he took a fair share of abuse and when he decided he'd had enough he took the ball and walked.

Game abbandoned after 30mins, so surely Star will get the game.

Don't know the ref in question, K Gorman was his name, but never seen him before.

He's reffed us a good few times over the last two seasons. Don't remember him before that. I've always found him decent. Would explain a decision if asked and has a bit of common sense when dealing with players. Must have been taking serious abuse to walk off.
