Thats not a bad signing at all, I was hoping he might stay and get more game time at Oriel as he could develop in to a player that would turn scouts heads.

That was a penalty which he then celebrated wildly by taking his shirt off and running over to the Waterford fans to rile them up. Strange behaviour considering Longford were already relegated so result meant nothing to them.

Sam Verdon has resigned for us from Bray to rejoin his old gaffer GC. Its his 3rd spell with us.
Apparently we've had a few signings and re-signings already sewn up for a while but the club have just been waiting to start announcing in bulk. Good start today with McClelland back as well as Anto Breslin and Mark Doyle in.
So why the wailing and gnashing of teeth over O'Donnel's supposed delaying of contract talks? All the stress the Pats board could have saved their fans too if they had indicated the strategy of waiting to bulk announce signings!
Old news mate, don't know why Dundalk fans keep talking about all this.
