Looks like it wasn't his choice, he was told he isn't needed.

New regime, same old Bray. Total Bray thing to do deeming your player of season as surplus to requirements
How a player's tax credits are split is irrelevant to what it costs the club. The only effect is the split between what the player receives into his bank account and what the club pays in tax. Total cost to the club remains the same. The only possible benefit to the club is if contracted wages are agreed on a net basis eg, Pats agree to pay a player €1k a week into his bank account and cover the tax themselves. That however can lead to all sort of costs for the club should a player decide to transfer all his credits to his wife leaving Pats with ridiculous tax bills.
Getting into Europe adds €250k approx to a club's income for the year, but no club (I hope) is stupid enough to spend it all on player salaries. While players will receive more bonuses for progressing through a few rounds the prize money would more than cover the costs.
Ethan Boyle to Linfield
Aaron Barry to Bray Wanderers
Rory Feely signed back today.
Gary Shaw to Bray Wanderers, red panty time back in North Korea!

Walter Figueira signed for Derry City. He was good with Waterford in his half season with us so another loss on top of Rory Feely who was our player of the year. Fans not happy at loss of these players and no signings so far.
It does seem like a bit of a clear-cut at Waterford. You'd be right to be concerned
Happy with that signing now, though it implies that Junior is going back to England.

A new darling of the media? I think not
There are similarities with their respective most recent UK experiences , in that they both seem to have struggled with the physicality of the UK lower leagues.
Let's wait and see if he can grow into the pace of this league.
They both played for Manchester City I suppose. And Burke played for Notts County. Tallaght man Vinny knows good pedigree when he sees it!
Even Alex Ferguson made mistakes.
George Poynton signed for Shelbourne during the week so another gone from the Waterford squad.
mcNally confirmed gone from Drogs - I can only presume it’s back to Pats.
Is Ciaran Kelly gone from Pats?
What are Pats doing to have some great centre backs coming through such as Kelly and McNally? Youths system ?
Nathan Boyle the latest gone from Harps. Has emigrated to Australia.
Jack Tuite signed for Drogs from Cabo
Bohs sign JJ Lunney,Kris Twardek and Stephen McGuinness.
Stephen McGuinness is an excellent keeper, number 2 at bohs ? or is Talbot off somwhere
Lunney a replacement for Allerdice, Twardek a replacement for Devanney and we lost our back up keeper towards the end of last season so not surprised to see a decent second keeper (Talbot has signed back for next season). good replacements in all cases so have to be happy with that, and more especially with keeping the bulk of last years team onboard (a pleasant surprise based on last couple of seasons)
Bohs also sign one of our backs Anto Breslin. quality player!
Keith Cowan gone from Harps aswell, worst possible news for us ...
Ack. That's a real gut punch.
Cork City released the forum this morning...
The foot glory days are back so! :)
What's the story there? That was one of the busier forums going
Probably the wrong thread for it but, a classic forum zinger - some solicitors have been contacted and threats to sue became very serious. There'll be tickets to Thursday's Foras GM changing hands for big sums at this point!
Expect there to be fireworks, Cork shtyle.
Sun "newspaper" reporting that Craig Sexton gone from managing Bohs Under 19's to become Assistant Manager in Shels. A big loss. Will come back and manage Bohs when Long moves on to the rumoured international under age management post in the next few years.
Shels effectively paying Bohs next management team to gain experience . Good appointment from Shels
Liam Scales signs for Shamrock Rovers.
