Now? Its been going on for years. Many clubs have had idiots run on to the pitch occasionally but it's part of (some) of Rovers supporters' goal celebration signature a long while whenever they can. Not suggesting that it was a Rovers fan but there was a numpty out of the North Stand of the Aviva, up and over hoarding like a flipping cat at the Switzerland game and got as far as jumping in with the players celebration. He had a green an white 'hooped' scarf on but may be a coincidence although it looked like a honed skill!!
If there was no umbrella, it wasn't a Rovers fan. You should know that Nesta.
I think he said 1685 in the Showgs about 200 Gebirgsjaeger.
275 in Limerick.
Drogheda's promotion would be of greater advantage to Dundalk though I do like the trips to Donegal best out of those that could be in the the play-off.
Thought so myself tbh.the number is from Drogs themselves.

989 waterford v dundalk
I think I heard 2016 at Turners Cross, may have been 2060.
Any update on this Nigel? Or does anybody else keep track of their own club's average?
Bohs' league average this year is 2864 which 9 home end sellouts, 10 in total if you include Rovers this Friday.
Might add the cup attendances to it if I get ahold of them
3634 Dundalk v Shams on Monday evening.
As White Horse mentioned in an other thread,it was a v.poor evening weather wise in Dundalk on Monday evening.Casual support,kids/families etc weren't going to turn up to get ****hed down on :(
