I've tried unsuccessfully to change my email setting.
I get this message "Your email address or email domain is not allowed to register on Foot.ie. If you haven't been banned from the site, go back and read the instructions writ large on the last page. If that's too tiresome for you, click here."
I don't see any instructions writ large on the previous page
except one - enter password before change.
Clicking on the click here link doesn't activate any action.

That message also appears on the registration page, where it states that freemail domains are banned. I would have thought that the first sentence of the message makes that pretty clear.
If you wish to change to a freemail address, PM me with with your request. You'll need to validate the email address by replying to a message to it.

I am already registered since years ago, I would have to log out first before even seeing the register /log in option. And if perchance I had to log back in, I would choose log in, not register. This is about changing a setting post registration.
It's not clear in the default message that an email could be rejected because it's a freemail domain. One could speculate that it might be a reason but it is not expressed.
I had also looked for an explanation of the reason why an email could be rejected in the FAQ pages (changing settings) and i found none.
I was just curious to find out, i might be stupid but I'm not lazy.

The wording is focused on registrations, but it has to be because if it's not, I get several queries a day about it. I think "Your email address or email domain is not allowed to register on Foot.ie." is fairly clear on what the problem might be.
