I'm sure it plays a part, but we've been wasteful in general this season. Difference being in league games you get a lot more chances to make up for it!

Only saw bits of the game but Cork looked to do OK. With limited possession (to be expected) in 2nd leg they will need to be very clinical and keep it tight at the back. Don't concede in first half and it can make for a nervy second half for the home side. Just need to take one chance and its all equal again, but concede early and it will be a long night !
Suduva of Lithuania 3 up against APOEL. Just goes to show you what is possible.
This is it! They are a hostile crowd more to their own side if its still 0-0 after half time. Not making the mistake that Dundalk made in chasing a goal and then getting undone, if we had taken the 0-1 in the Aviva rather than cough up the second it would have made for an interesting finish to that time after our away goal in Warsaw. It's doable!! Imagine if an on form Maguire had been playing to capitalise on those chances!?
Another good showing from the Irish League in Bulgaria🙈
And Ludogorets are crap too don't forget. :(
From wikipedia
They currently play in the Swiss Challenge League following relegation from the Swiss Super League after a poor 2016–17 season. Vaduz is unique in that it represents its own national association in the UEFA Europa League when winning the domestic cup, whilst playing in another country's league. This is due to Liechtenstein not organising its own league.
Walk in to Europe every year then. Not so different from the days of Wrexham and Cardiff dominating the Welsh Cup until the Welsh FA stood up. They should have a decent co-efficient early rounds and obviously are not a bad side if beating Levski.
I also thought that to play international football UEFA rules mean that there must be a domestic league.
Yeah were in the top league last year, they are a handy enough team, but was surprised about today's result tbh.
Have seen them play a few times, very tidy team. Liechtenstein is a class place to visit, small but nice.:D:D. And you dont even notice it when you cross the border from Switzerland, just that the bus stops are a different colour. They use Swiss francs too.
Cup competition means cup winners qualify, yeah.
Molde losing 2-1 to Glenavon, and have missed a peno. Maybe the IL's not so bad, eh, benno? ;)
That said, wouldn't be Molde's first 2-1 defeat in Ireland lately
Was at the Glenavon-Molde game.
Glenavon were 14/1 to win, and were playing with a second-string team due to holidays and injuries. But they deserved the win. Very good second goal scored by ex-Derry player Josh Daniels.
Molde were very average, and on that performance would probably have lost to any of this year's 4 LOI Euro entrants. They had a big 17yr old player up front who apparently had 16 scouts at the game watching him. They'll all have gone home with empty notebooks though, as he was cac.
David Jeffereys was at the game, and was universally popular with Glenavon fans. And a highlight for me was Gary Hamilton (Glenavon Manager's) unorthodox way of ensuring he could leave his technical area. He put a bib on and told the 4th official he was warming up :)
I think that’s Alf Inge Haaland’s son that the scouts were watching. Linked with the likes of Juventus and Man United. It’s said on here every year but I can’t believe the amount of players and managers in the IL that are on holiday at the time of the European games. It’s not like they’re all amateurs.
