fair play
Interesting scrolling down through the thread from start to finish in 10 mins.
Fair play for coming out with a profit at the end of it all.
How does it compare to other, 'regular' bets on your part?
Have enjoyed following your exploits in this through the season. A decent profit from it too given there was only 3 wins from 24.
Thats the thing - 10% at those odds is break even. Doesn't seem like a lot, but difficult to achieve.
To be honest the only other regular bet I do is Tom Segal (Horse tipster in the racing post) to a level stake between 1 Nov and 1 May with varying degrees of success year to year - last year was down - 3 years prev was up.
I have done regular bets like this in the past but I can't prove profit, especially as it would be erratic in terms of stake and frequency - hence the reason why I started the thread - to document a regular, level stake bet over a set period of time. The only reason I turned a profit is I wanted to see to through until the end - otherwise I would have given up after 7 or 8 weeks and lost 70/80 quid as a result.
