Great news, it'd be nice to see Bristol promoted with Gaffney there.
Checking back in with you guys after the excellent news that we've managed to get Rory in permenently.
We absolutely love him at Rovers (The Gas, as we are known). Rory has become a fans favourite already. Pace, power, and a great finish on him. If you haven't seen already - check out this montage of his goals for us thus far, some crackers.

We are well and truly gunning for promotion now and Rory is sure to play a vital part in that push. We start on Sunday at Oxford who are quality but we are taking 3,000 fans and will be singing our Rory Gaffney chant loud and proud.
Also with regards to Cambridge playing hard ball with us, the reason we and Gaffers were so annoyed was because a week before his loan was up they told him he was free to leave and he discussed the deal with us, came to an agreement etc, and was ready to move down to Bristol. In his final week of the loan he played 2 and scored 4, Cambridge lost their loan striker and failed to get him back, so told him he was wanted there. But naturally he was p*ssed off because he loved it at The Gas and we showed much more faith in him than they ever did. Anyway, it's all been pushed through now, and I can't wait to see him back in a Rovers shirt.
UTG - it means UP THE GAS - a common Rovers phrase for anyone that wants to follow us from afar ;) My Irish league affinity is yet to be picked so get your offers in ;)
Played 85 minutes on Saturday, and his replacement scored an 88th minute penalty to help Bristol Rovers win 2-1.
I had a look on gaschat (no idea if that is the biggest Rovers forum) and the posters there seem very happy with him in general.
Limerick it is!!
Another win sees us rise to 4th. The chase is on. Home against Plymouth (top of the league) Saturday. Gaff is due a goal.
Goal for Gaffney tonight to go with another last week in a 2-1 win.
Bristol's form hasn't been great though and they've slipped out of the play-off spots.
Another goal for Gaff on Tuesday, in a 4-1 win against Hartlepool. Back into the play off spots.
Gaffney's got a good head on his shoulders. Always good to see an any player being pro-active about getting ready for a life after football.
Rovers have risen to 3rd place in League Two - the automatic promotion spots - for the first time.
Gaff returned from injury on Saturday to play 50 minutes in a 4-1 win away to Newport County.
On Friday we start the easter period with a home game against Cambridge United - the team he was so desperate to leave for us. You can be sure he or his replacement at Cambridge, Williamson, will notch. Let's hope its the GAS.
Played most of yesterdays 3-0 win over Crawley Town. Bristol Rovers third with 6 to play.
Gaffers hasn't scored in a few games but we're all still very happy with his performances - and his partnership with Matty Taylor has led to Taylor becoming the English Football Leagues top goalscorer, with 25 league goals. Most of which were scored after Gaffney came in.
Gaffney scored for Bristol in a 2-1 win at the weekend, but they were held 0-0 at the weekend and are out of the automatic playoff spots.
Apart from runaway division winners Northampton, it's very tight in League 2, with only 2 points separating 2nd from 5th.
Just checked up there. Bristol Rovers doing fairly well in League One, currently 8th after 18 games, outside play-off places only on goal difference. Gaffney has 13 appearances and one goal.
He got two in the FA Cup game midweek also - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37905309
Scored from a yard out in their home 2-1 defeat to non-league Barrow in the cup.
Had some very nice touches to set up chances, and hit the post/crossbar with a rasping shot, but also missed a good chance late on trying to react to a deflection.
Bristol Rovers actually managed to stay in play-off contention nearly all the way to the end of the League One season. Gaffney scored both Rovers goals in a 4-2 loss to Peterborough the other day. Nine goals this season, in 39 appearances, all comps.
