Carey has moved on to Ross County, who will open the season away at his old club Celtic.
When Dundee United turned him down I couldn't help but feel he should just try his luck down in England and try and move upwards there. His career in Scotland has been a downward trajectory, maybe he should have stopped swimming against the tide there and move to another beach?
