It was the JonJoe element that got me thinking he had to be irish in combination with the surname. If he's third or fourth generation Irish, I would have been surprised to see such a forename. The whole package shouted Irish but alas not to be.

Liverpool is basically an Irish city, but unfortunately for us, with most of them it goes back to far. I remember working in Liverpool during euro 88 and the scousers went mental when ray scored. Could have been in dublin.
Someone did mention that there's a lad called liam coyle who is meant to be handy for liverpool youths that can play for us.
Will Keane has signed for Ipswich on loan, and will play for them in their FA Cup tie this afternoon
Marcus Harness got a hat trick for Burton Albion away to Rochdale today in League One. He was due to come onboard or was confirmed eligible from my recollection. He's 22 now so overage for under 21 campaign upcoming.
I hope nothing's holding him back. He needs to follow Callum Robinson's lead.
Eamonn Brophy of Kilmarnock being linked with a move to Leeds this week. Has to be 2G Irish with that name?
Has Sean Longstaff's eligibility been confirmed?
He had a decent game against Chelsea today.
According to this not eligible https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.chr...n-15434014.amp
Nice to see will Keane score today hopefully gets a run of games at Ipswich after nearly two years ruined with injury
True. He has missed the guts of three years of football with knee injuries so even though he has just turned 26 he has only.played 70 odd games at senior level which is pitiful. Hopefully gets a clear run of games now at Ipswich to show some of that old underage man utd form

O'Riley is an England youth international and also eligible to represent both Denmark and Norway
Mentioned in this article by Miguel Delaney, as are Troy Parrott and Louie Barry.
Brennan has switched his account to private
"Just off the phone to Noel King who asked me if I would be interested in being by (sic) an official talent spotter for Irish eligible players for the FAI in London. Will sign the paperwork tomorrow. #COYBIG" is what Brennan's tweet says.
Conor Gallagher (Chelsea) has played U-19 for England, but has he any Irish connections?
