Even on the Back of another disappointed loss at Derry City last weekend, Cobh Ramblers go into this crucial match at the St Colman’s Park against Finn Harps with a very positive attitude despite the Ramblers squad having a number of injuries.
Conor Meade, Alan Kearney, Mickey O’Shea and Shane Guthrie are out injured and John Meade is suspended for the game against Finn Harps on Friday 23rd May.
Although it wasn’t a good result for the Ramblers last week and it followed another two disappointing results over the last few fixtures, Stephen Henderson and his young team know it is time to start winning games to accumulate points if they want to remain in the Premier Division. In the second half of the game against Derry City the Ramblers play was tremendous and enforced Henderson belief that they have want it takes to stay in the Premier Division. Cobh Ramblers went into the Derry City game with a plan and it was working until a few bad refereeing decisions, one in which cost them losing John Meade with a red card and a perfectly good goal being disallowed for off side.
Stephen Henderson “We are playing really well and will go into this match determined to take maximum points. If we want to stay in this division we must start winning. The Finn Harps match is another opportunity to turn good performances into winning results”.
