No Galway team has ever won the FAI Junior Cup!

Ya I think so, my knowledge of what goes on over the border in Mexico isn't great!
Westport won the Junior Cup in 2004/5. Athenry were finalists the following season losing out to a late extra-time goal against Waterford Crystal. Athenry also came close last year losing on penalties to eventual winners Fairview Rangers in the semi-final. Other Galway sides made the semis in the past (Renmore? Hibs?) but I believe Athenry may be the only Galway finalists to date. Of course, I could be wrong.Quote:
