30 years since Liam Brady's final cap, substituted early in a 1-1 draw with Finland
Its a pity his knee was shot. I think one of the signs of how good a player Brady was that when he went to Italy that different Italian Clubs bought him. This was when Italy was the place for the best Players in the World. You would see a top player go there and if the Italians did not rate him they they would be back after a year or so. Had Brady gone a year or two earlier he could have had an even bigger impact ! ! !

10 years since the first game at the redeveloped Aviva Stadium, a friendly against Argentina
also, Robbie Keane's 100th cap for Ireland
I've a story from that game traps translator Manu went into the Argentine bus after the game to get a jersey signed for charity. The manager told her to get off the bus. But was " overruled" by messi and she got all the signings on the Jersey !
It's ten years since Keane's 100th cap for us?
Bloody hell.
It's four years since his final cap!
20 years since we should have beaten the Netherlands away from home
Ten years since Keith Fahey scored his first international goal
40 years since we beat the Dutch 2-1
