In fairness to Shams the club issued a statement after the game to clarify that it was pure bitterness on the part of the club and supporters rather than arrogance on the part of the players, which was nice of them.

That wasnt so hard was it now! Mutual respect, progress already! and we're only talking about guards of honour - wait until November 2021 and with a league won with games to go i'm sure there will be ongoing respectful guards of honour...when Bohs win the title and the last game is v Rovers in Dalymount (wont suggest a possibility of winning it in Tallaght as that's caused a whole load of grief already). Now that would be some serious gesture if it ever came to pass!

Smart move by Rovers. Should keep the bad PR away if fans do show up at least.
Top class performance from Pats in all aspects bar the finishing. Kelly and Gibson should be scoring those chances but that sums up our season to be honest. Failed to score in 10 of the 18 league and cup games this season, the fact that Europe can be obtained with a win against Bohs coupled with a Finn Harps win on Monday really doesn’t reflect well on the league
Champions of Ireland, we know what we are.
The standard of the other teams in the league is of no concern to Rovers- They have enough self belief now to continue on reaching the targets they set for themselves.
Hopefully the upcoming 2 games in 48 hrs will not be a hindrance in seeing out the league campaign unbeaten
