This is news to me. Why hasn't anyone mentioned this before?

Listen I'm not getting into the Oriel Park debate again, all I'm saying is that finals of the premier football competitions in this country should be held in a ground befitting the occasion and at this moment Oriel Park is not that so it should be excluded from the equation until such a time that it is. Getting to host a big occasion is a reward not a right. For the purpose of this discussion I couldn't give a flying **** about if plans are in the works or not, its irrelevant until plans are completed, until Oriel isn't a **** hole it shouldn't be allowed to host national league finals, simple as, show the competition some respect.
Yeah that's not defending it
It was a genuine question about Tallaght Stadium, from starting to being able to hold games was how long?
I dont disagree that a national final shouldnt be played in a fitting stadium. What that is determined by is always going to be based on opinion. Was Ferrycarraig an appropriate venue when it was held there? The League Cup is a competition that does seem to reward clubs like Wexford Youths, Markest Field was also used recently, ED Park too (and I'm not making a compasiron with Oriel either!!). It's a toss of a coin of course so it may not have fallen in the favour of those clubs but at the time I didnt see too many having issue with Ferrycarrig for example, people felt that it would be a shot in the arm for the club.
22 years Nesta :)
Much obliged :p, felt like 222... It was far too painful for me to look up and not even a Rovers fan!!
Whats the capacity of Brandywell?
We have been given 700 tickets and if they are gone told we will get another 300
Brandywell sold out for this now.
I expect that the Bluebell Bar near the stadium will be jammers pre-match. Any suggestions for alternative places to watch the All-Ireland replay on tv?
Dundalk will wear their Temple St Children's Hospital kit for the final this evening.

Cracking pre match atmosphere in the Brandywell.
EirSports have a perfect stream, but no sound ...
Edit : Overlaid with Radio Foyle sorts it out.
Poor poor Goalkeeping there
Silly challenge by Gillespie for his second yellow, but no contact. McGrath the cheat with the dive.
