Cork 1 down in Finland
feck already? after how long.
where are you getting your updates?
Haka'd previously had a great chance to score per the Cork site.
Mathews Euro record continues, he started with a 4-5-1 when we needed to score.
ya, but they still bloody conceded.
In other Northern games Djugardens 1 up in Talinn, Metalurgs 1 up at home to Glentoran and Viking 1 up at home to Vetra
2 down
Not so good now.
That's that. Cork'll never come back from 2-0 down...
You have question tactics already.
There should be a rule in place preventing Matthews from managing Irish sides in Europe..........
They really need to score by the 60th Min, Extra Time is the best option.
3-0 per livescore.
****ing disaster.
Disgraceful result to be honest.
Conceding 5 goals over two legs to a Finnish team?
Matthews making a late attempt to beat the 5-1 tally?
I was expecting Cork to do a bit better than this.
By the way it was Carmarthen. And Longford actually scored in that game, so it was technically a better result :D
very dissapointing
Behan sent off
Pure Embarassment for the league after Drogheda gave it some pride.
Although i wanted them to do well tonight my only hope now is that they can save face and score maybe a goal or two or at least leave it at 4. We may have a chance against a low confidence cork team sunday so, excuse my selfishness:)
Mathews should go after this. It's just humiliating for everybody. He should hang his head in shame.
He'll say he was hired to win the league.
horrible result. embarrassing for the league. I thought the fist leg result was actually alright in that Haka are probably underrated a bit - but i wasnt expecting this.
but to take this result in isolation and call for heads is crazy. In AM' first season, we remain in contention for the league, are in the semi' of league cup and play Rovers for a last eight in FAI cup. This with a decent first 11 and pretty weak bench.I'm as gutted as any City fan with the Haka hammering, but the last time we lost a game was away to Bohs in May, tomorrow is August 1st.:ball:
Was Delaney over at it?
Absolutely shocking result...and to think Cork fans mocked Longford for their disaster in Wales:eek:
Are cork not full time?
Is there not another UEFA match with a LOI representative?
Its just Cork and Pats
I find it funny when a better team Midtjylland beat a worse team than Cork, Bangor, 4-0 aswell, just makes it worse in my opinion.
Computer says yes, computer also says nil all.
I feel for Cliftonville, 7-0 down after 65 Mins
1-0 up. Jamie Harris.
Pats 1-0 Jamie Harris
About time aswell.
