Limerick Over 40's 2008

Hi Lads,its that time of the year again....june 15th -- june 16th
the world famous Over 40's Football Tournament.
Hope the weather holds and that everybody has a good time...
it is for a very worthy cause so lets all enjoy it..
Hope all you senior players are back in training....

don't have to be over 40 to enjoy the tournament. have some very fond memories of that tournament since i was a very young lad. alot of the managers in town play in it and there is always a laugh and joke come preseason. normally they respond with extra laps and more fitness work but its worth it in the "long run" excuse the pun.

watched a couple of games 2-3 years back ,, were quite entertaining & competitive plus a few smashing players still able to play a bit of ball .. would recomend it for a good day out and see some of the legends togging out for their local clubs :ball:

the pitches below look fantastic,credit due to John Ryan and Johnny Clancy who have been looking after them all season

What time does it run from tomorrow and Sunday? During the day or in the evening?

SORRY , just slipped out getting brainwashed with all the digs that goes on in these forums. No it was a great performance by them and its a great day out for everybody, hope to make an apperance in it in 2016 :D
