Will he be speaking in English or have a translator?
His English is passable, so presumably English.
Apparently it will be streamed on the FAI website, we know thats a guarantee.
is it in the main arena for the usual scarf over the head lark or just press conference in some room?

Not forgetting our own version, the nuttiest of them all.
never get tired of that ... poor auld rico
Wow, Rico is a hell of a good ventriloquist! All that ranting and his mouth barely moves ;)
Anyone know what time this is on?
On today at 2 o'clock. Should be a good one.
Headline on the RTÉ Website -
Trapattoni to be unveiled at RDS
Are they gonna have a white sheet over him which John Delaney will then remove whilst saying "I formally declare this Manager - Appointed!"
Probably smash a bottle (empty) of champagne against him as he slides into the press conference.
Is it on anything? Jaysus Berties third rate history essay on everything yesterday....
fai.ie - right hand side, first item. Go quick, it's starting!
they have the video blocked here in work:(
sound quality is atrocious
Sound is rubbish alright. What a stupid first question.
The sound is brutal. We can watch the good bits on the news later on sure.
gave up....
what was the first question?
anyone else getting tired of the brutal "mafia" referances in every Trapp related article?
Yes he is Italian....give it a rest....
Just basically why did he take the job.
first question was had he been advising Liam Brady on buying Italian suits.
Seriously.
well dont keep us in suspense.....had he??????
Generally at these things they start with a few trivial questions to get things warmed up.
Excellent question from an Italian journalist (at least I think he was Italian) about the history of Irish football, and the development of tactics from long ball under Charlton using taller players (Stuttgart88 is loving this!) to a more passing game
I am just saying how these things work in general. First couple of questions are usually of a trivial nature to get people relaxed and warmed up and then they come with the more pertinent and hard hitting questions.
at least no one has said,
'Can you repeat that answer Trap'?
Tets, that inflated Italian? journalist took about 10 minutes to ask a simple question:confused:
