The standard isn't actually that high. Longford and Waterford are struggling to put together anything, theres nothing to fear in Mons, Athlone, Sporting Fingal etc, so behind Dundalk and Shels theres a lot of points to be played for. Who knows?

struggle this year but lucky the club is still here
I think 7th would be reasonable, all things considered.
I can live with that as long as the "behind the scenes" stuff is done properly this time (how many times have we heard that before?!).
i can't believe i agree with you aswell, getting organised this year should be the most important thing building a good relationship with the city has to be next on the list:confused: tough job but getting 1000 people week in and out for home matches is vital but charging kids isn't the way to go about gonna drive people the wrong way,,,
7th or 8th.

Sounds like Mike is getting his excuses in early. I don't agree with all the negativity on here though. The season didn't get off to the ideal start preperation wise last year either so I'm going for 4th again or higher. Who's going to do better? I'd say Dundalk or maybe Waterford but that's it.
Dundalk and Shebourne are the two to watch this year, I'd have Waterford and Fingal (by all accounts) on a level lower then that, with ourselves, Athlone, Monaghan, Longford and Wexford below them. Poor ol' Kildare however...... :D
start as u mean to go on,same story every year with that circus, different faces but the same outcome, the club is a joke, has been for years, the laughing stock of the league...the yank isn't in it for the good of the club or for the future of football in limerick,he's a business man and all they want is to make money,he must be good because god knows how he'll do it with that shambles of a club,is it true leo was on the bench tonite....sssh,i hear the sound of ultra's approaching,i best prepare for the backlash...37 for the fai
Oscar issued with a warning. Poacher given a week suspension. Trolling is not allowed on foot.ie. The Limerick 37 forum is not to place to come to heap random scorn upon the club and it's fans. Certain poorly evolved posters would do well to remember that.
You might want to read this so.

Valid point. However as it's first offence that I've come across by the poster in question I'm going to point out here for their benefit that personal abuse of posters (as infantile as their posts may be) is not allowed here and hope that they remember that in future.
For yourself Fairkop you'd do well to cut back on the WUMing. Just to pick up on one point your constant sniping about people in the shed is getting fairly close to being an obsession at this stage. I've not watched a game from there in some time personally but if you really think that there's ten people in there a remedial maths refresher course probably wouldn't go amiss. If you have a problem with posters comments relating to junior football on the junior forums take it up with the moderator there. If you have a problem with comments on junior football on this forum feel free to make counter arguments. This forum does not exist for people to come on and make nothing but negative comments for the sake of negativity about Limerick 37. It's that simple.
Sounds arduous... isn't there a load of steel lying about somewhere that I can use instead?
Note: I appreciate that working in steel will probably prove more difficult but I figured that LTID would do most of the hard work anyway.
Also I predict that Amy Winehouse will die this year, Glen Hansard's ego will seperate from the rest of his body and run away with his lady and Jack Nicholson will play Ger Finnan in a movie about his life.
but people aren't coming on giving there opinions, they are just coming on slating limericks senior soccer team, there's a big difference. saying limerick are a joke because they lost the first match of the season and stuff like that is not an opinion its just slagging. people put alot of effort into trying to make senior soccer a success in limerick and to support their team, it gets very annoying when people come on here just to knock them every chance they get. Its not the fans fault that there have been problems within the club itself. Also the next few weeks won't tell any story, limerick fans know its going to be tough season so if the season gets off to a bad start its nothing unexpected. I for one am just happy we still have a club and a squad of players. With a clean slate to start with this year it seems Limerick are trying to put together proper structures with a ceo and general manager etc... unlike when the club had a clean start last season.
