Could the Drumcondra Fuhrer's declaration in Vienna yesterday that we are about to recognise Kosovo's sovereignity cast a doubt over Trap's first scheduled game in charge?
Doubt it. Sure every other country in the world has supported their independence. Except The Isle of Man.
spain hasn't either.
I feel sorry for the serbs, this was originally their heartland...
Actually regardless of The Isle of Man's stance on the issue does anyone know if it's an afternoon or evening kick-off as the FAI website says TBC. It's me Ma's 60th that night so might have to miss it if it's the 7:30pm kick-off. :(
I am pretty sure it is afternoon.
What does Kosovo look like ?
Not sure if I would recognise it
From the above list, its obvious why Argentina, Russia and Spain have oppossed it. Not so sure why Slovakia would though.
To be honest being Irish, I didnt think mein fuhrer would acknowledge it so quickly...
IT would be like if Meath was filled with loads of people from Wales and then it was declared independent.
Ahhh sure who needs Gort.
Going by source, as can be seen from the second table Srbija have three upcoming away internationals.

Now now Paulie there is no point in denying your true identity. Didn’t we meet up in Dublin a few years back for that Argentinean bloke coming to see us? You remember that don’t ya?? Come on now my little friend? Anyhow are you going to the match like to meet up again?;)
ive never met ye GBV.
But if ye come over for the match Ill make a big effort to meet ye is that fair enough?!
Im sure craven cottage will have some on general release, but given the ticket office didn't know anything about it, im pretty sure that could be a while yet:D

This is like the government saying, that if you migrate to a country, become
the majority in a part of a country then you can declare independence..
Sounds a bit like them agreeing with the creation of Northern Ireland..
An evening kick-off because of a competing event on the telly? Surely not? I though the FAI only had 7:30pm kick-offs if the opposing conuntry's TV stations paid big money for it (Germany last October, they even used their own cameras) or for religious reasons (Israel in the last World Cup qualifiers). Neither apply to Serbia.Quote:
The Heineken Cup Final is on the same day, which is an afternoon kick off. Nobody would want to compete for viewers with that, so a late evening kick off makes a lot of sense.
As for the whole Kosova business, there's a cynical Serbian saying; Serbs will do anything to kepp Kosovo in Serbia, apart from live there.
FAI website is showing it a 7.30pm KO here
