It wasnt that long ago that he was moaning that Miller wasnt in the Irish squad...and now he goes and tries to get rid of him. If he's good enough for Ireland he's definitely good enough for Sundireland.:D

But why not transfer list him in January like the group of other players Keane transfer listed? Of what I've seen of Miller this season I think he's done alright for Sunderland. He hasn't been speactular by any means but neither has Sunderland. I think he's good enough for a Premiership club like Sunderland so I don't believe he's been transfer-listed on purely sporting grounds.Quote:

Yeah i'd say the Andy Reid signing was the final nail in the coffin. Miller just gives away the ball far too much at this level and if I had the choice between Miller and Reid I know who I'd pick (Hint: it wouldn't be Miller)
He was very inconsistent for Celtic and never nailed down a first team spot and he was 23 or 24 when he left. There's no guarantee he'd have made it in Glasgow.Quote:

Says a lot about Keane's panicky incursions into the transfer market. Fair enough, Miller came in when Sunderland were in the Championship but he signed Harte with a view to playing him in the Premiership!
Miller might benefit from a move to a league without the physical intensity of the Premiership. I could see him getting a game for a team in the lower half of the Spanish first division.
I'm sure a Championship club will come in for him on loan. I actually didn't think he was doing too badly this season so I'm assuming they had a bust up!

Miller is pretty aveage but he has been one of Sunderlands better player this season and easily good enough for Sunderland, my money is def on a bust up.
