oh, great :) thanks
Got myself 2 x 40 euro tickets, upper cusack Row A , very happy with that.
But not 2 happy with the 3.95 euro per ticket "service charge."Disgraceful rip off
just check. Tickets still on sale now.
I'm guessing it'll be the same for the Serbia game?
got my tickets today! :)
Which stand will host the Brazil fans lads?
They should keep the seats there, all year round.
anyone in galway get theres yet?
Got mine in Limerick this afternoon.
One thing that is annoying though even though I had to fork out €800 for tickets they still only posted the Brazil ones and I suppose we will have to wait for the week before the Serbia game before we receive them
Why not just charge for one game if this is the way they were going to do it.
More tickets available again now on ticketmaster
Just bought 3, lower Cusack, 309 row Z..any ideas on these seats..good, bad etc.. Ticketmaster charged me 5 effin 50 for each ticket!
row Z , eh ? ....
yeah brutal are they???
I've been at the very uppermost corner of the stadium for the four group games and you get an excellent view of the pitch.
Uppermost of cusack lower, or uppermost of croke park in general..ie ..in the nose bleed section.
After getting 327 row q thats heading for the corner in the lower hogan! I'm fairly happy with that considering that you'd expect tickets on sale this close the game to be crap its not even that high up since the lower tier in croke park goes from A to RR or something
Are you saying it goes A to Z then AA to RR in the lower? so if im in row Z im only 26 rows from the front as opposed to row RR which would be the very back?
I hear you need to bring your own oxygen tank up there!! One last question.. section 309 Cusack, would that be in line with the goal line for the football. Looking at the Gaa seating it would be half way between the goal line and the halfway line, but with the shorter pitch.
Row A is nearest the pitch. Row Z is 26 rows from the pitch with AA 27 rows away.

So is the match going to be a sell-out or what? I'm hoping to get tickets on Friday afternoon in ticketmaster....what are my odds of getting any lower-tier tickets in the hogan stand?
they have spares down in the lower cusack at GAA for people who dont like heights or something like that, maybe the FAI have done the same
jmurphyc lies. our seats are hogan upper row z, but they're level with the goal line, not in the corner. a good thirty yards from the corner seats.
the view is excellent, though i can't go on wednesday cos of the new job in jury's croke park as event staff. can't really ask for the day off on my second shift, now can I? assuming of course i make the first one and am not hanging from tonight...
Shelbourne also have tickets on sale if Tolka Park is easier to get to
I was giving a rough idea to what it's like in a similar area as nobody else was giving any opinion on what the corner area is like. And we are relatively close to the corner, I can't see the view being that much worse (which as you rightly say, is excellent for watching a game).
In my opinion for football upper tier in the cusack or the hogan is as good if not better than lower tier. Anywhere in the Canal end is a disaster, too far away.
