there gona be released friday at 11,
hope we start off with soemthing like, galway, harps, ucd and bray, hopefully well get two anyway, these are the competition for the coming season, we need to finnish above them to stay up, so is best to see what were up against earlier.
cant wait:ball::ball::ball:
have to disagree need to get big teams early while we have everyone available and before they get into stride, city at home first
I think ye'd be better off getting bigger teams first too.
Theyl be getting into their stride, and there wont be much expected. If ye do manage to take points off them it'l be a plus and give you good confidence then against the smaller teams.
Losing against one of the top 4/5 on the first day of the season isn't too bad, losing to one of the smaller teams would hit the confidence a good bit.
If we were away to ye first, how many tickets do ye think we would get?
who said ye were comin in :D:D:
and tickets are on sale in caravan outside ground, we can throw a free tarot reading with mystic ned for an extra fiver:D
I presume we'd get the tickets sent up as I thought ye'd want to limit them?
Id be very very surprised if it didnt sell out like? We could bring a couple of thousand down at least if we were allowed. A long time since we've had any real rivals and as the first game of the season.
mystic ned would clean up:D:D
As far as I know you will be able to get your tickets online with Ticketmaster, they were down recently, sorting things out. This will be a good way to increase the crowds. I will get the ticketing for away fans sorted before the league starts. What the bet we get City at home for the first game:cool:
Well of course only a certain amount of tickets will be available but I was more talking about away fans buying home fans allocation.
For example, our game against Derry when we won the league, Derry only got 500 tickets( a bit more than they were entitled to) and they sold very quickly. had they been online they would certainly have bought a lot more, taking tickets from the home fans.
Waterford limited our tickets last year for the cup to 200ish(initially) because the capacity was limited and of course they want to accommodate home fans first.
Are all rams games all ticket so next year Marco?
I think and I might be wrong but we would have room for 3500 fans.
Not trying to be smart, but I honestly think If it was hyped up enough we could push 2000 fans. A big game at the cross would usually top 3000 and Cobh is the closest away game weve had in a long time. Plus there's the novelty factor of a derby.
Obviously ye wouldnt want the away fans outnumbering ye so we expected the tickets to be restricted. I know a couple of people who were tempted to buy season tickets to guarantee tickets for the Rams away games/
Good point, I see where you are coming from, I'd be more than happy with 2ooo City fans attending. I will be working with ur CPO to promote both games, home and away, it can only benefit both clubs.
We can hold more than 3500. I thought the official ground capacity is 5000.
Fixtures for the new season will be annnounced at 11am this Friday on the eircom lge website. Summer break will start on June 13th. Should be interesting! Nice to be back:D
the east stand should be solely for way fans thats it. No exceptions its more than 10% of the ground and when city come down it should be all ticket sold only through the club, with the exception of the east stand for city fans, what ever we dont sell should be kept aside for home:away fans on a prortion basis
I agree Marco but important to remember that any deal agreed has to go both ways ie. If we agree to allocate 2000 tickets to City then I would presume that we would be guaranteed say 1000 tickets when we play at the cross as i reakon we will have between 500 - 1000 fans at that game also.
