From what I've heard, it's got a bit to do with being RRS on the administration side by the FAI. That's definitely what I'm hearing and I gather it had something to do with the stand.
its only the same story that was posted here last week for **** sake. Resignations so what. We dont need another thread about this. Spillane only wanting a story. Looks like a articlte from the tacky sun.
what is it like? are we being investigated by the FAI?
Suppose we cant avoid it, says all i need to know bout them really. We win 4 nil away from home, extend the lead to 4 points of dundalk 6 clear of harps, and their main story of the night is bad news thats a week old. Load of ****e. Publicity we dint ****in need either.
Slow news day in the echo, old news. Negativity sells papers, they should be giving more coverage to the team and not the stupidity that is going on in the background.
just dont buy the echo, for christs sake its a rag, ramblers are top, and they should have lost this, they slipped up agian, f*** off spillane ya muppet, go shag lennox, pople resign all the time who cares,
Don Ramo, couldn't agree with you more. Why dont they replace these people with new blood and run the place like a business because that is what Ramblers is, a business. No place for people who are a bit too sensitive.
They don't necessarily have to Business Men. Just people who want the best for the club and will do what it takes to make the club great on and off the field.
I love the below quote
It's important that I make a difference in some way. It's not necessarily how I make a difference, but I want to make sure that I do.
Clay Aiken
christ, were going to run the club on quotations now
let it go, stand making good progress
All this negativity is coming from the "old stock". Hendo and the boys are doin' brilliantly... doing us proud.... this wasn't in the script at the start of the season... now the "MSL brigade" are in a bit of a fix because they can't use the teams performance as a lever to pull out of LOI... and God forbid what will they do if we win the title... you see there will be no backing for a pull out of LOI when we're doing so well.... Debt is part of the modern game, it's all about managing it.. so anyway .... C'mon the Rams we're going up:D
We need, young businessmen/women, with a bit of money, great drive and determination, fresh views and opinions, and ideas on how to bring the club forward, and people who can match match barrys hunger and drive and work together.
ya we had the and told them f*** off
It's time we all pulled together for the sake of the team and club. Whether your old stock, new stock it's time to put all that rubbish aside and drive forward. Oh well we can always dream :):)
Come on the Rams!!!!!!!
thats the idea id say luka they have to get behind the team and the club for the good of the club as a whole, we are all one club and we must move forward as one or we will fall behind, when we get to the prem we will have to take the first steps into professional football, so we will have to be more professional as a club so we must all stay together for whats right for the club
the scary thing is these problems grow legs and before long they start effecting the team it is inevitable , our best seaon ever in loi and it is being threatened by a shower of muppets who want to fight instead of pull together for the clubs sake
please dont wreck this for us , god knows we have waited long enough
if the committee were brave one of them would identify themselves on this forum and speak up once and for all, take a look mat marco he is not afraid to stand up and be counted and to give as good as he gets
we al know there is people with vested interests on this forum trying to stir up trouble in order to further there own ambitions, but this is the teams and athe fans season dont destroy it please
well said here here
Well said Ramsfan.
thanks don ramo, just sick of rams talk always being about committee trouble it should be here to tell the team that we are behind them and to congratulation them on there great work;)
Its amazing how many people come out of the woodwork when the team are winning. Lets hope the increase in people on the forum leads to the same % increase through the gate on Saturday if so the place will be rocking.
Which leads me to my next point, certain people raise eyebrows and pass snarly comments when new people come to support the club, like i know one or two people who were chattin in bar after and were told your only here cause were winning, or cause your friend signed, your not a real supporter lark. We need supporters and people through the gates no matter who they are, and its great to see city supporters come down supporting us!
It should do, there is a very positive vibe about the team, limited resources, very young group of players, young manager, playing attractive football. This is the time for the club to capitalise and get as many new supporters as possible into the club, using words like woodwork creates a them and us situation, old fans against new fans. Why not just accept that a winning team will always attract new fans, thats a good thing
Its great to see reaction here at least has confined that story to the bin...the emphasis has to be on supporting the team on the final drive....and we need as many as possible behind us to suceed in our mission.
While I dont fully know the reasons why this has developed, we need to appreciate what has been done by ALL at committeee level to get us to where we are and also we need to move on and keep the momentum going even if that means bringing in fresh people with fresh ideas.
