Has it ever rained so much? Feels like its been raining since the start of June...
:(
Tell me about it!...........I went to Mumbai 10 days ago, expecting hot sticky weather........absolutely p****d down for the 4 days I was there....so much so the airports, railway stations and most roads were closed, and unfortunately 40 people died in 24 hours!
It was like being in Sheffield or Hull!!!
Just glad I don't sell sun tan lotion!!;)
I hate people who comlain about the weather, and I despise people who say stuff like "When I was kid the summers lasted for four months. Sun never stopped shining"
BUT
This fecking rain is ridiculous. Games being called off in July?
It has rained over here in Scotland almost every day at some stage for the past 2 months, I've never known anything like it.
The sad thing is is that the summer hasn't really got long to go and considering we only had a few nice weekends in April it has the makings of the worst summer in memory.
Before the global warming naysayers get a word in, I'd just like to add that despite the disappearing summers, the temperature is actually going up.

Of course if you're still denying climate change in the face of the last few years, you're too much of a moron to be able to understand the chart.

Got sunburned meself in Galway the last few days :o
Piddling today though
It's pretty nice in Florida today. Actually, it's pretty nice every day.:D
Wednesday and Thursday were beautiful here in Galway, like GT said, we got slightly sun burnt. Last weekend was baking hot too.
Its depressing at this stage, impossible to go or do anything. Roll on the hols
Very true :
Global warming doesnt just mean more sun it will more than likely mean flooding as more moisture is in the air and eventually when it stops the gulf stream we'll be freezing .
I cant get clothes dry or keep the house clean with two muddy puppies !!
We need to act now and start training pirates :D
Was on the news earlier Bulmers cider (C+C) were down half a billion on the stock exchange due to lesser sales than expected. They are blaming the poor weather
The weather man on after the RTE news there said our last competly dry day was June 8th. Some summer we having
There was an interview in one of the sunday papers last week with a long-range weather forecaster in New Zealand who reckoned we'd get one decent week at the end of July, after which it would p1ss for the rest of the year, bar a very brief Indian summer in September or October.
Short-range forecasting gets better and better, but long-range forecasting is an inexact science at best, complete crap at worst. They very, very rarely get it right; even then it's probably luck half the time, basic probability the other half.

Fairly sunny in Athlone today ... so far :)
What i hate most about the weather is talking about it. dont give a crap if it rains all day but working in a service industry people just want to talk about it. it seems to determine how people feel about a day or in general. better still they tell me what the weather is like , as if i cant gauge it for myself
"Nice day"
Yes, it is a nice day weather wise. thank you for telling me because i dont have the intellect to realize that.
its not just old people either, its infecting the youth too. This country has changed so much and we're still talking about our ****ing weather. I dream of a day when its absolutely ****ing rain and a customer would just say to me
" Are you one of those new gen kids who treat cocaine as a way to relax and unwind weekend"
I would love that, but will it happen.hell no, they just want my opinion on whether or not will rain later.........knew i should have voted fine gael
London summer has been muck this year. Such a disappointment. Roll on winter.
I blame Fianna Fail and the PDs for the weather, commentary about the weather, people who drive in the outside lane, and the slight headache I had earlier in the week.
