Conor, you're into early 90s "rave" and 80s stadium rock. Officially you have the worst taste in music ever...
'High and Dry' was their 2nd album I believe. After 'All through the night' though I'm open to correction on that.Quote:

yup, you've got it right...High N Dry was the second, and IMHO best album the Leps did.
the Hair-Metal 80's killed a lot of my enthusiasm for the genre, but I did not hesitate to pick H-n-D out of the used bin when i saw it.
conor what u make of the Sigur Rios album ()
Of course it is and I should have put a smiley on there. I happen to love Oasis and Coldplay and adore Basement Jaxx and Air. Depends on mood...Quote:

No wonder you are an FFer!! :D :D
With the exception of "Fidelio" and the Pastoral, I can pretty much get by without Beethoven.Quote:

Bach is as necessary for life as oxygen itself.
As regards FSoL, back in the days when Donal Dineen was presenting No Disco, he regularly played their stuff. Not particularly bad, but hardly life altering.
For the quinntessential mind blowing, Damascene converting, Lucy in the sky type experience, get your hands on
"St. Matthews Passion".
You will see the light........... you will vote Labour !!;)
Anyone got Tenacious D.
There are a couple of really good tracks on it.
The tracks on the album are either Guns n Roses or Green Day type, or somewhere in the middle.

i have now thats what i call music 1 and 2 as well. both are on vinyl. ah, come on theres a lot of famous songs on it. There down in Cork.
I think its on 1 or 2 but one of my fav songs is on it i think. Its called "the Crown" by Gary Byrd and the GB Experience. Sheer Class with the most intelligent lyrics on a record ever. (it deals with black culture, history, slavery etc). Goes on for about 12 minutes. Amazing song.
i have a few ElO songs and albums from before that.
Only ever bought one of them (think it was Now 26). I must compliment/comiserate with you on your truly awful five most embarrassing though! ;)Quote:

Before I start I agree that Relish are muck, so bloody bland apart from 'Heart Shaped Box'. Anyway, off the top of me head some of my favourites would be...Quote:
