The Cathedral in Sligo. The clock face is handy when Rovers are sweating it out for a win or looking to get back into it. The Protestant Church, St John the Baptist is next door but dont think its visible from the Showgrounds. It hasnt got a steeple though.
Not St Pauls, St Peters
United Park - Our Lady of Lourdes Church (from home terrace only) and another one miles away in the distance out in the country.
is there one visible from Turners Cross?
Turners Cross church can definitely be seen from the Donie Forde, and I think also from the Shed and St Annes.
Our stand is faced in the right direction to see St Macartan's Cathedral, must check out tonight if it can be seen.
(i think not, probably obscured by a hill)
Mater Dei can be seen from the main stand and new stand in Tolka. Not a church but just the place where the priests study.
you could see the catherdal and St. Nicolas Protestant church from terryland. Not sure now with the new stand up?
the church visible from turners crossis called Christ the King..heres a bit of weird info...it was the first churchof its size in ireland ever built that did not have coloums/pillars in it..learn't that in criost Ri
St Mary's Chapel just over the bridge from Finn Park. In fairness, you can see the steeple of it from miles around though.
No steeple from the main stand in Bray. You can see some old run down religious centre there. It's closed down now but it has a Virgin Mary on top of it (I guess there's a first time for everything :D)
You can probably see a few of the steeples in the other stand.
