Does anyone know what the record is in minutes for keeping a clean sheet in the Eircom League?????????
This was looked at in a different thread.
Think we got as far as 650 minutes for Barry Ryan while at UCD. He's currently on 478 or so for Pat's in the league.
Dan Connor was on 540 minutes at the start of last season
Barry Murphy kept 23 clean sheets last season which is a record.

ya but its not asking how many clean sheets were kept but how long a team went without conceding in teh league, no division splitting, does anyone know the record
I think Jody Byrne did a long stint close to 1000 minutes for Rovers with the 4-in-a-row team of the 80s. I remember it being mentioned once on Saints and Greavsie!
;-)

I rememeber that think it was 10 games straight and conceded in the 80th minute of a 4-1 win afaik he went mental at a defender who lost his man at a corner was a pic of him going mental in the old big sunday paper or the press not sure.
Ryan on 270 for the league now so hopefully he makes it 360 on friday :)
kdjac
James Mac on 483 for the Rams:)
Lets hope he can keep it going, due in no small part to the sound defence!
mick devine has a good record from a few years back, ill try to find it.
I think Galway United's record is about 45 minutes! :(
thats why ye have 4 goals so is it:D
us alone have scored six and conceded 3 and havent conceded in six games, where ye have conceded 10 already the only team worse than ye is waterford and longford are tied, and dundalk have scored more goals than any prem team, :D
The First Division doesn't count because it's just worse in general.
seeked after?
was that post yokel speak for implying im a hooligan of some sort?
I presume you can back that up?
No, it's because we have no recognised striker in our regular starting 11.Because the quality of other teams strikers are not that good, like I said. Keep up don.Well this proves that the defenders in the FD are of poor quality also, thanks for pointing that out.
I think, if you bother to look, you'll find that it's this post from a shams fan that brought it off-topic. Good man;).
I could've sworn Shamrock fans were on here telling me that the financial irresponsibility had nothing to do with their club, as it was an entirely different club that perpetrated that cheating and crime. Silly me, I guess you get to pick and choose which parts of your history you want to lay claim to.
