Is that loony american fella still the PA announcer in St. Colmans?
dunnop some rock anthem i suppose, boys are back in town, welcome to paradise, welcome to the jungle, head llong, michael guineys over there:D , and the classic were gonna win 3 nil, but mainly rock anthems, if i hear barbie girl there there will be trouble:D
Last season it was Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash apparently the dressing room took a shine to it and they requested that it be played as they walk out.
Teenage kicks by the undertones would surely get everyone going!
I'll be back with more suggestions, going though my stockpile!
have a listen to arcade fire... wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I asked our players what they would like me to play when they are coming onto the pitch but so far only thing they have come up with is the A-Team theme tune....hope to have it for them against Athlone.
In meantime I have been playing Hard FI's Hard to Beat which we have thus far proven!
Trapt - Headstrong. I would go for something original anyway other than the old reliables.
given everybodies attitude at the start of the season mission impossible seems appropiate. :D :D :D
what about the premier league darts theme "chase the sun" by planet funk, great song to get the crowd going.
New Sound System on Order and to go in when New Stand Complete....It will be like Live Aid....only Match Night.....get yer requests in now..How about a sponsor the Match Day theme song. Personal music Requests to lead out the team @ €20 a shot (Annominous of course)
I'm in favour of the premier league darts theme "chase the sun" by planet funk,
Good Shout Bellavistaman!
check this out!! first 50 seconds or so!!!!! u2 come out to it wen they play live!!!! if its good enough for them boys surely its good enough for ours.... its also played at alot of nfl teams before the games

The Arcade Fire -"Wake Up"
Thats some tune well, i'd have a decision between that and the premier league darts theme tune.
Thats another good shout well done MojoPin
Can someone organise a poll on it.
is that jade goody in the 20 to 25 seconds of the song!!!!!! ha
somebody also suggested to me the rocky theme would be very good too. i agree, not the eye of the tiger the other one in it.
out in the fields, garry moore and thin lizzy, what a song
the new one. its called gonna fly now. dunno by who.
How about the music from 'Apocalypse now' ? Wagner I think?? Or is that a bit naff?;)
remember when bolton used score (only to equalise or go ahead not when there 2 or 3 down) they used i feel good james brown, it was class.
is it just me or does chaisng the sun seem an absolutely terrible song for the team to come out to??? i think that song would be perfectly suited to wen we score as its kinda a novelty hum along song and would be class at after a goal but as for running out onto the pith at the start of the game i dont think td be good,
The Arcade Fire song is the one that the team should walk out to.
The Planet Funk song should be played when we score a goal because then the crowd will be on a high so they may even sing along & do the arm movements.
PAUL REIDY TAKE NOTE!
another greta song for the walk out!!!!!

Throw that on to the CD aswell Bellavistaman thats quality tune too
Last Friday nite I made the mistake of listening to one of our players (naming and shaming Brian Gannon here!) and allowed him to talk me into taking a CD he had. It was "Now thats what I call music decades" I think and he only had the 80's CD in it. He asked me to play some of the songs on it while they were warming up and then said, "please please play number 10"
I did what I was told, but just so I wasnt accused of having such bad taste in music I said over the mic "this is a special request for Brian Gannon" before I played............MARIA McKEE.....SHOW ME HEAVEN!
Nice song, but for warming up at a footie game?
When it was over I said "hope you enjoyed that Brian coz I wont be playin it again"
Thank god there were feck all in the ground at the time (or later unfortunately!)
So be warned, players have naff taste in music!
