Joe is Killian Lordan any good?
Im friendly with him and I was talking to him the other night.
I asked was there any chance of him getting into the 1st team
and he said not a hope while Murphy is in charge.
What do you think? Is he up to it?
Your some friend, boy!:pQuote:

I know ya.
He's a **** friend and a **** person like
YYEEESSS.
Apprentice.
How did that happen all of a sudden?
Thats champion, aye champion.
well he's the only one of the team to have actually played for the first team, competitively, so he probably has the best chance. Played most of last year at centre-half and won player of the year, but has played mainly in centre of midfield this time around. I think he was pushed down the pecking order with all the signings made in the last year, but i would say he has a chance, or at least deserves a shot at a place in the first team.Quote:

To paraphrase something someone once said:Quote:

Akchewerly, Kerry Under 21s are already through to the semis where they meet Bohs in Dublin. Think they're staying in the Citywest, which is the right approach to the game. So if Kerry win through, and City follow us into the final (which will be on in Tralee) then I'll be cheering against City
Ah, ye Kerry men are the most fickle type of f*ckin animal !!!!!:D
well that's one less concern for you now Conor as Bohs won that match :pQuote:

as for city, well they had a terrific and fully deserving 1-0 win in Sligo, thanks to a Cillian Lordan goal, and will now take on St Pat's in Cork* in the semis.
*date, time and venue tba
Woohoo. See if we can´t win something other than the bloody Munster Senior Cup this year :DQuote:

afaik the club are still trying to get it switched to friday, but at this stage i'd say it;s unlikelyQuote:

just one question- the match report says city took the only chance they had, but then mentions a number of saves made by the sligo keeper :confused:Quote:
i prefer the report in the echo myself ;)
great post (indeed a great thread) here about the muppets writing for the echo ;) :DQuote:

Joe will that game be on in the cross.
Another semi-final ..... and against Pat's in Cork ( see tonight's Echo ).
Anyone know when this is on and where?
It could be a good evening's entertainment. Hopefully there will be a good turn outt to see the future of our club.
We should all make the effort ..... they deserve the support when you consider the path they had to overcome after a poor start.
Come on CITY.........!
should know later this evening about the ucd match and hopefully about the under21s soon after
Not that it necessarily correct but...
Off Aertel
FRIDAY JANUARY 24
EIRCOM LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION
Cork City -v- UCD 7.45
Turner's Cross
Yet again RTE show their class as a broadcasting unit............?
All final round matches MUST be played at the same time therefore our lasst game vs. UCD will be played on Sunday next ( not sure what time - but I'm sure RTE will let us know in time.... wait ... it's just coming through.... 2.45 in the morning.... so there you are ...... that's the official line )
Gotta stop drinking on Monday's I'm starting to halucinate ( is that spelt right? ).
City V UCD will take place on Sunday at 3.15pm - as definite as things can be in this league
nothing definite about the under21s yet - possibly wednesday week
AFAIK they are allowing the shels game go ahead on friday as the result of that doesn´t affect anyone- but I can´t see how they´d let us play before roversQuote:
