Might head out.
Where is their ground?
The Golden Ball, Kilternan. The 63 goes from UCD (occasionally) and stops beside it. It's near enough to Palmer's pub, I think.
The 44 is more regular, it goes through Ranelagh and Dundrum.
I'll probably just cycle out anyway.
The FAI Confirmed the fixture
18th February: Wayside Celtic v U.C.D. Golden Ball 14.30
We are playing you guys this coming Sunday - from KCFC Official Website:

Away Friendly
John Ryan will have another chance to run the rule over his panel for the coming season when the Thoroughbreds take on UCD on Sunday.
UCD are the fourth Premier Division side to face County in the pre-season. The game kicks off at midday in the UCD Complex (pitch not known at this stage)
How does one the to the UCD Complex, is it near the bus stop @ Belfield? Was there at Higher Options last year but just spent the day on the internet in the IT building :)
The game will either be in Belfield Park or a pitch near it so you should get off the bus and follow these directions;

See yas all tomorrow - bright and early!
0-3 to UCD.
Not a great game to watch but the stadium looked impressive.
Just a few minor things need attention
UCD 4-0 Kildare County
Ash and Kildare Lad, were you fielding strong sides in those games?
Not really. A few positions were being filled with inexperienced lads.
Still though, we were awful going forward, awful...
Wouldn't mind hearing more about the stadium, better yet are there any pics of the ground (not artist's impressions) online?
We had a strong enough side out, although made a few changes during the
game. Players looked a bit tired, but they have around 16 training sessions
under their belts so far.
Starting line up was: Ciaran Kelly, Ronan Frawley, Des Hope, Jim Sheridan,
Ian Rossiter, David O'Dowd, Davy Byrne, Mixie Harty, Steve Feeney,
Eric Lavine, Paul McTiernan.
Stadium looked impressive. I took a few snaps but I think they came out
blurred, very cold and a shakey hand. I'll check them later and post any
decent one.
I was standing in the press area and the view was excellent
(typical, 2000 seats and I stand :-).
26 power sockets and 6 fixed line phone/internet connections.
Wireless broadband access available
Only downside that I could notice off hand was the roof of the dugouts are
not at an angle so when it rains the water sits on top of it. Few new bulbs
needed in the floodlights too.
Official opening is on next week so I'll get a few more pics then
