Does anyone know what game RTE are showing tomorrow night?
Shels-v-Bohs, i think.
Shels and Bohs with live reports from the Brandywell -
Join Roddy Collins and Dave Barry with Con Murphy for live coverage of the last day of the eircom league. With the season reaching an exciting climax, who will raise the championship trophy? There will be live coverage of Shels V Bohs at Tolka Park and there will also be a live link to the Brandywell where Derry City will take on Cork City. Commentary from Darragh Maloney and Pat Morley.
KOH
cheers
After the packed turners cross this time last season its disappointing that game from the Brandywell not the key game for tv. 3-4,000 crowd in Tolka not as good an advert for the league as packed Brandywell.
Seeing the team Bohs have will be minor miracle if they derail Shels. Lot of attacking options for Shels.
Derry 1-0 up. Farren.
Derry 1 - 0 Cork
Farren
Is the game on on rte.ie? Can't find it if it is...
rte.ie, click on sport, then you'll see a banner about a 1/3 of the way down.
Bohs score an utterly comical goal!
\o/ \o/ \o/
BARRY FERGUSON \O/
Williams dropping the ball at Ferguson's feet :D
Shelbourne 0 - 1 Bohemians
Derry lead the Premier by 3 points I make that
Our lot should be singing "Can we lend you 20 cent?" at the Shels lot :D
**** sake
Nerves are wrecked :o
:D :D
Shels 1-1 :o
one one shelbourne, stuart byrne penalty
And Bray are 1-0 against Sligo.... Georgescu scores.
Meanwhile at the business end of the table Derry still lead the table with Shels two points behind....
29 mins Glen Crowe makes it 2-1 Shels... who go back on top with Derry lying in second
 :(
Bohs are hopeless, Its there for Shels to lose now.
Derry City v Cork City commentary
Shels digging their heels in. O'Halloran on for Ndo.
Hasn't been a very good advertisement for the league at all. One good point however is the stupendous atmosphere generated by the Shelbourne fans...
It's naturally going to be a crap game. Bohs are woeful and Shels are nervy. To be fair to Nutsy it seems Ndo has done his hamstrings.
Richie Baker still on the pitch after being sent off with the game going on.
That's grounds for an appeal tbh
so that's another tainted and controversial season over then.
unlucky Derry City - shame it didn't fall your way tonight
Fenlon's gently side stepped the question of his future. Was quite dignified in victory. Stuart Byrne on the other hand has just made a total and utter tw@t of himself. Bitter deluded rant.
Disgraceful, deluded comments there by the Shels player
Second time they've had a pop at others after winning a league title - how about showing some graciousness?
If Scully got fined for pointing out a couple of things, will this bitter deluded idiot get anything for that rant there?
Somehow I think not
That was pure mental. I would guess that Fenlon had be using that sort of stuff to get them wound up for the run-in but saying all that was crazy!
'We won it'
"Stephen Kenny's behaviour has been despicable and I thought he was a better man than that"
Reiteoir, it was ambiguous enough, kind of directed at a paranoid "they" rather than mention of the FAI. For a second I thought he was lifting the lid on not being paid!
but still - you do not go on national tv and level those kind of accusations at a fellow person in the game.
Small clubs, small minds - that kind of thing
Congradulations Shels. As they say whoever finishes top deserves it. Saying that Shels edged over the line against really poor Bohs side.
Byrne comments was pathetic. He is old enough to know better.
Kenny losing the plot too with commenst of 7,000 & 8,000 crowds. The Brandywell could not even hold that.
Does anyone know why the stewards removed that George's Cross from the barrier in front of the main stand (and required the assistance of three gardaí in order to do so?) I couldn't see the text, was there something offensive printed on it?
