Big Crowd in the Showgrounds - we can take them!
Cant Wait.......Savage draw. Should be some cowd at it. We have nothing to fear.!!!!!!!!
I was chatting O Grady last week and he was saying the Derry lads didnt fancy a trip to the Showground!If we are going to win it we have to beat good teams like Derry city!Plus they will bring a great crowd and the atmosphere will be savage!
Best possible draw as regards attendance. Hopefully it'll be on a Sunday as Derry would bring even more than they will on the Friday.
Should be a good advertisement on telly aswell, it's gonna be tough, but come on Rovers!:)
More than likely a Sunday game, the Friday night will suit the Dublin clubs.

Foyzer will be hoping McCourt is injured for this one.
McCourt was around him the last day,until a miracle pulled Paddys hamstring,which helped us greatly in winning the game.
McCourt hasn't been living up to his own high standards lately though! Still good, but aint as good as he was.

we wil have a warm up for it next week against them in the Brandywell,should be a bus going,spread the word....see what kind of a chance we have.
Would we settle for losing 10-0 in the the brandywell and beating them in the cup?

we cud well beat dem at home, it wont b easy nd wud rather 2 hav gotten shams or pats but at least we didnt get dem at d brandywell.

I heard (relatively reliable source) the FAI have capped the attendance at 6000 for the match, with an allocation of 1500 for City Fans. From the Shed round to the Southern Hotel side of the Railway end is to be all Rovers with Derry getting the Blue stand and the Terrace behind the goals (Churchill), I have managed to get a couple of tickets already, they are very poor quality you’ll need to look after them, they are going on general sale on Wednesday.
heard the same re crowd apart from the derry allocation..heard it was more
ill be guarding mine with my life when i get it!they should sell out pretty quickly
with at least 1500 derry fans we'll find it tough to outsing them....we will though!

Dermot brannigan was on ocean this morning and he said that derry have an allocation of 2000! and rovers have only 3000-3500! what are they trying to do like who controls the allocation?

i thought derry would have 1500 at most,2000 is pretty much the whole of the new stand!! the railway end will have to be opened too....wonder why they dont just open it for every game???
