Sky Sports show all the Irish games.
nothing listed so far in tv papers. Channel 5 or BBC 3/4 would be the best bet.
i havent seen it confirmed anywhere as yet, bbc3, who showed the germany game are showing the northern irish game instead this time.
It's doesn't see to be on in the UK at all, not listed on C5 or BBC3/4 or any of the ITV channels, nor is it on Sky SPorts 1, 2, or 3 (not that I have Sky anyway), I even had at look at some Cypriot/Greek internet streams but theydon't look very hopeful either.I watched the news in Greek though :) , it showed a newclip from the BBC (with BBC news banner on the bottom of it) which I found amusing :D It also read a weather report in English too for some reason, obviously I can't speak Greek!!
Looks like I wil have to make do with the radio, but I will keep looking for other options.
Who has it in Ireland? TV3? Some of the pubs have the Irish SKY service so it'll be on in one of those I reckon.
setanta are showing the Poland game if the guardian tv footie listings are right........ nothing down for the Irish game. Looks like a trip to the pub to me!
Because of the early kick off BBC 3/4 won't pick it up, C5 might cover it but like the Germany game it will probably only be announced late in the day. Sky are not showing it at the moment and neither are Setanta so unless things change it will be tricky to get somewhere that is showing it.
If you need to check out what channel the games are on check out www.liveonsat.com it has every station a game is on and the sat, freq and if it's free to air or not. But the Ireland game on Saturday is on TV3 and Sportsmax which is on the 53West Sat or 55.5West so If yoi have a motor Sat your laughing
here is a few programs you could try. Google TV Ants, PP Stream and Sop Cast. These are chinnese programs and rely on pier to pier sharing and it has a two minute delay. They show all games but it takes a little searching. But I'm a member of a website which tells you what program it is on and I'll post it here on Saturday about when it is on. They also show Premiership games e.t.c.
Pubs that have RTE in London include: Corrib Rest (NW6), McGoverns (NW6) and Molly Malone's in Richmond.
I know the game's not on RTE but I presume it means that they have the Irish SKY package, hence also TV3.
anyone know if bars in the city have rte in London?
o'neills and the sort?
Waxy's used to show the RTE feed for games but I'm 99% sure O'Neils won't have it. You should give Waxy's a call or try the Porterhouse in Covent Garden.
Hmmmm just checked Waxy's website & the porterhouse, no sign of them showing it I'm afraid, you'll have to brave the Kilburn High Road!
SAKE, not all this again. I can't take the stress of not knowing if i can watch the game!!
prob go for Kilburn just to make sure
Do they show the games in the Crown in Cricklewood?
I'm at a wedding there this weekend
You can always ring the Crown. The RISSC has its monthly meetings there. They may know too.
Edit: I just rang them. They're showing virtually every game except Ireland according to some Eastern European chick who hasn't a clue & basically thought I was incomprehensible when I asked if they had the Irish SKY service. What can you do?
I'd be surprised if the Crown aren't showing it
BBC3 is showing the Northern Ireland - Denmark game, so it's looking increasingly unlikely it'll be available in the UK, at least on terrestrial TV
No but it'll be on in any pub with the Irish SKY service so that's dozens at least in London. It just makes it harder to plan, that's all.
I know it's on in my local, The Corrib Rest. However, it's unlucky. We've not won a single game I've watched there since I moved into the area. OK, it's not so much that the pub is unlucky, more that we've been sh1te since I moved there.
Anyway, I resent playing second fiddle to English fans in an Irish pub, as they'll be showing England vs Macedonia in the bigger part of the pub.
I wish there was a pub in Cardiff that had Irish sky
Not really, sadly. I moved to London in '99 and any good results we've had since then I've usually been at the games. I watched the 2-1 vs Yugoslavia in Terry Neill's Sports Bar in Holborn but it's closed now.
Am thinking of Molly Malone's in Richmond. Maybe some of the rugby luck will spread. I'm told they have the Irish SKY service. Only problem is that if I go all the way down there & it's not on I'm goosed.
Usual hard core Irish pubs like The Swan in Stockwell are bound to have it I reckon. McGoverns in Kiloburn is a near cert, but maybe only in the small bar at the side.
Captain Morgans - Greenford will have the game..................
Tube? Metropolitan Line?
Sudbury Hill Picadilly line, turn right out of station about 10 min walk down hill
Greenford - Central line, turn left out of station, 1st right then left at lights
or get 92 bus (from greenford stn) up to texaco garage.......................
Thanks
a few phone calls are going to be made on saturday just to make sure as im not trekking through half of london to end up in a pub showing the en-ger-land game

Unfortunately the SWAN, legendary though it is, tends to portray itself more as an Aussie/Kiwi/Saffer bar these days on top of the ould Irish theme. I havent known it to show Ireland matches that arent on Sky Sports, but i could be wrong.
However, if anyone's thinking of being in the area on saturday, i'm doing some research and will keep yous posted; i usually rely on the (un)Holy Tooting Trinity of the Wheatsheaf/the Mayfair/Jack Beard's to come good, and they've not let me down yet. Watch this space..
Just moved to London so any confirmed venues would be greatly appreciated. That pub in Richmond would be ideal as I live in Putney, but anywhere will do as long as they DEFINETLY have the game
i know its a long shot but does anyone know anywhere in brighton with irish sky?
Can anyone please re-assure me that the Cyprus game is being shown on terrestrial TV here in Ireland?
It's not listed in the RTE guide. It's not listed anywhere (as far as I can see) on RTE site. Someone mentioned TV3? if so is it live or delayed?
Yep, it's on TV3

The Owl (and others), I'm waiting on confirmation from Molly Malone's in Richmond (at the Kew Road roundabout I think). My mate who lives across the road says they have RTE, so they must surely also have TV3. However, she's a girl with at best a passing interest in sport. You know what I'm getting at - even if she says it's on it may only be because some dollybird behind the bar is guessing it's on.
PS: I'm not a misogynist!
Either of your mates auntys pubs would be a good bet (the only 2 irish pubs in Brighton) - failing that there is a pub in hove. Im calling them today to find out if they have TV3 / irish sky card. Can you check the bugle off lewis road, as they may show it. See you sat.
