If the personal terms are alright then he may well go, providing he actuallly does well.
Surely this should be in the National Team forum as he is now automatically good enough for the national team ;)
Is what Dolan meant when he wrote he heard some good news on the George saga?
Hes there a week so obviously Dolan knew this when he wrote his piece then it was extended....god bless patron saint of the league. And most Pats fans want him back

If Ipswich pay the cash they can have him. Not sure how he could sbe signed out of the transfer window though... Maybe on loan until January with view to sale...?
Ye he can move on loan alright.
Glad to see you don't let your personal feelings cloud your judgment Cosmo.
And theres me thinking you were banned.:D
Bitterness? Moi? ;)
He is of no value to the club I support at the moment and if the only option is to get rid then so be it. As i'm sure you know we are not exactly flush with cash so paying out his wages every week so he can trot about with the U21s is not exactly good business.
Surely such attacks/threats on our manager shouldn't be allowed.
You know my views on this well enough by now, yes of course we'd all prefer to have him in the team but its obvious at this stage that he ain't ever going to play for Rico again, therefore whats the alternative ? let him draw his wages every week for nothing?
Admir will be a fine player, pointless dragging him into this debate.
He has to withdraw his transfer request first. Sell him, he came out screaming blue murder and asked for a transfer so what do you expect. He doesn't want to play for Cork CIty as Rico is in charge therefore he doesn't want to play for City. Simple really it doesn't matter who is in charge if he wants to play he wants to play but his transfer request shows that he has self-interest first. Leave him off, if he wants to play in the uk again off with him, I really wish him the best of luck and hope he does well but while he has a transfer request in he is not a City legend that he believes he is. His action with the statement through his counsel and it's timing was low and done to inflict damage to our club. We've screamed blue murder when other leave to join Shels, to me his actions are worse.
Has he actually played for the U/21's though? I thought he was just training with them myself...
O'Callaghan while a very talented player is clearly also a troublesome player as he has fallen out with almost every manager he has worked under.
A manager has to keep discipline within a squad and if he let one player off with challenging that authority then would be the end of the team. Not that George needs encouragement but I think backing him over the manager really just encourages him to think he is right.
