This is good news.. I dont think we could have got a better draw! A packed show grounds, against a team that got here by default...
The way we are playing i cant see how we will stumble here...

ya,great draw, also with UCD and Derry meeting it will put one of our boggey teams out.
Great draw, surely we cant mess up?
great draw....although...remember Mallahide! dont take anytin for granted....although we shud win very comfortably!!
should be a semi final for us! Cup winners 06? heres hoping!
Happy days we should see these guys off!Hopefully a home draw in the semi,s
Delighted it's at home first of all and even better against a non league side. We're obviously expected(and rightly so) to win but I just hope the lads don't underestimate Killester(the fans are allowed to though, see sig:D), I'm sure Sean won't let them though. The last thing we want is another Malahide(replay) or even worse, Bluebell United:eek:.
I cant see that happen!I think Sean is pro enough to have all the lads on there game!
Hope you all got your bets on before the draw....now 2nd favourties.
what price are we now?we were 14-1
7-2 with PP
Saturday the 30th? Evening?
Did i dream it, or are three of the games on TV?
Lads I fancy you to go through. But these fellas are the best non league
side in the country at the minute imo. They beat Wayside Celtic who
defeated Cobh last year and took Bohs to a replay. They will probably
train close on ft coming up to the tie. It wont be a total cake walk so
if your not beating them at half time dont get excited
Kilester are back in season a good few weeks now.
hope we win and i think a german style hammering wouldn't do us any harm
14-0
It should have been us playing you....
Nah Kilester would've beaten you :p
I dont really doubt it tbh Raheny Red.....we have a bad record against non-league opposition in cup games....I still feel the time Skerries beat us is our lowest point & hang my head in shame everytime I drive past the signposts for that godforsaken place!
doesn't matter..we would have beaten u as well
ya but we could have presented her with a foy t shirt and she could have joined in with us singing for him:p
This won't be an easy game at all for Sligo, but Sligo should win. It will be close.
It could be the first semi final in the Showgrounds since we had three in a row, 1994-96. Of course we will have to beat Killester first and pray for a home draw.
Sligo should beat Killester but it won't be that handy. I did predict you would have a tough game against Malahide last year and they took you to a replay. So beware.
Killester ¼ Final
Derry ½ Final
Shams Final.
The Bit O’Red FAI Cup Champions 2006!!!!.
The Fact that Carlsberg do cups! It ill be the best one ever…….. Bring them on.
Killester lost in the FAI Junior Cup last week I heard, and arent as good as they once were.
We should win handy enough but wheter we do is another matter.
Lads just to give you a heads up ... great to see you doing well but do not at your peril take Killester for granted. I'm with Portmarnock and we suprisingly beat them 2-1 in the (delayed) Leinster Junior Cup Final last weekend. However they were missing 4 or 5 players through injuries etc. They are by far the best Junior Team in Dublin at present, 20 good young players in the squad, together over 10 years (from schoolboy football), tough at the back, hard running and skilful midfielders, 3 of the best strikers around in Sheridan, Lacey and Keogh (the latter 2 are in the Amateur International Team). Pace and toughness throughout the team. Set pieces as good as anything I've seen at Eircom league level (and I see plenty). Their manager Joey Graydon is a clever lad and will do his homework on you. A few years ago Dundalk were in your position and we kicked their arse (in the last 16 of the Senior Cup), so just be careful! Also knowing Graydon he will print off your "14-0" comments and pin them on the dressing room wall! Best of luck and make sure you do what Longford did to us in the Quarters after we beat Dundalk or we will never hear the end of it
And is Keogh still top scorer is the cup this year? :D
