Funniesst has got to be the welsh country accent or the west country accent
Love the Devon/Cornwall area accent - not as oooo aarrrrrrr as I thought.:)
Best by far is the Newcastle accent, especially Geordie girls;).
Worst: Definitely scouser accent!
Was Going to post on this thread untill I seen this ...........Short narrow pointed metal objects hit directly on the mark with large metal flat object Usually with wooden handle comes to mind:DQuote:

The proper Norrff Landan accent does my head - its just rough. Or worse yet the Norrf Landan people who insist on taling like they are either an american rapper or some kinda yardie, blood:rolleyes:
Sounds like the riot police then. Toxteth 1981 is a long faded distant memory.:DQuote:

Absolutely love the Welsh and Liverpool accents!!
Best: the Geordie accent, always funny, and the West Country is quite amusing, but quite good for a laugh too...
Worst: Thick Scouse (like a fork scraping a plate), Brummie (we wanna be togevvvahhh), posh Etonian and geezah London ones...
Best:Scottish
Worst:Every English accent especially Northern England
Like the Scouse accent, don't like the Geordie one at all. I've grown immune and indifferent to the Scottish one at this stage but before I moved here I used to love it on the ol' dolls. Sounded very dirty...
worst has to be the antrim accent.
The funny thing is I don't know whether to be defensive or not about your comment, Pauro, as to the untrained ear that's exactly how I sound. Oh, the joys of being a PP... :oQuote:

Worst is that daawn soutth ****. Get over urselfs.
Best- Liverpool or Newcastle
Worst-Manchester (jesus it annoys me)
With respect to all of the above you've obviuosly never visited Birmingham or Wolverhampton, horrible accents! they dont open their mouths when the talk, just mumble!
I love the geordie accent though, class!
The Liverpool accent turns my stomach! It's utterly repulsive!
I like most of the other accents but only find accents from certain south eastern areas sexy.
Worst: Birmingham, North East, and anything Scouse enough to fail the chicken test (so lots of East Lancs and North Wales as well as Merseyside).
Best: Welsh
Worst: Scouse
Oi leave it owrt you shlaaaag or I'll come back sarf to give you a good kick up the arris.Quote:

I have a very soft spot for the Brummie accent and think it's much misunderstood. You're dead right about Yardiff though - I always like listening to Goldie Lookin' Chain for that proper Valley Commando. You knows it. :D
Manc accents just grate on me. Northern English accents in general do my tits in. Nothing beats posh-Home -Counties-with-a-dirty-laugh though. That's my favourite. :)

i don't like birmhngham, liverpool or welsh accents
Now you're talking!Quote:

Either you're being highly ironic in which case :D or you haven't read the title of the thread properly. :)

there's no such thing as a worst British accent... There's just good English accents and terrible American. I absolutely hate the nasal speech of the Americans, especially in the southern states like Texas and New Mexico...
Nice'n'sweet : the Aussie accent! Has something very charming :)
And Scottish is sweet.
