Mines is Safri Duo-Played alive:cool:
Fools Gold-The Stone Roses:cool:
Too hard to pick one but I'd offer:
Richie Hawtin - Minus Orange
Adam Beyer - Drumcode
Green Velvet - Flash
DJ Skull - Acid Wiss
Underworld - Cowgirl
I could go on...
Storm-Time To Burn .
Prodigy -Smack My Bitch Up.
Darude -Sandstorm
Voodoo People - Prodigy. Still raises the hairs on the back of your neck!
Silence - Delerium
tom jones-whats new pussycat and sex bomb
moby - go
f.s.o.l - papa new guinea
a guy called gerald - voodoo ray
808 state - pacific state
Orbital--Satan
Leftfield--Phat Planet
Prodigy--Firestarter
i'm goin narrow in scope here otherwise i'd like to put something from screamadelica, roses, betas:
maybe 'girl with sun in her head' from orbital's in sides. cool change halfway through that one. daft punk's 'da funk' i likee. more modern - 'yeah (crass mix)' by lcd soundsystem, it cycles through just about every style in its 10 or so minutes. also spesh mention to anything off the latter half of m.i.a.'s arular
Insomnia: Faithless
I have two:
Punchanella "San Transisco"
Stardust "Music Sounds Better With You"
Depends on your definition of "dance", I s'pose. For me, nothing comes close to Primal Scream - Loaded. Yeah, it may be half done to death at this stage, but there's a good reason for that.
Cafe del mar - Energy 52
Better off alone - Alice DeeJay
Everytime you touch me - Moby
Yeke Yeke by More Kante - biggish hit in 1987.
Knock on wood by Amii Stewart in 1979 - awesome production. Great percussive effects on it.
Blue Monday - New Order the one that started it all off or the remix of Submission (New Order) in the film Blade.
Theres loads though to choose from.
Chemical Brothers - Sunshine Underground
Leftfield - Phat Planet
Prodigy - No Good
Royksopp - Eple
Gotta be On a ragga tip by sl2
although some spanish tune i heard in salou year before last comes close
goes something like luma luma luma yeah yeah kaya ha kaya ha. Anyone got any idea what I'm talking about
Cafe del mar - Energy 52
Adagio for Strings - DJ Tiesto
Out Of Space-Prodigy
Hey Boy, Hey Girl-Chemical Brothers
Oh my Gosh-Basement Jaxx
Top 5(That will always get me on the dance floor)
Blue Monday- New Order
Loaded-Primal Screem
Fools Good- Stone Roses
Hallelujah-Happy Mondays
Out of Space- The Prodigy
Adagio for strings-tiesto
Fcuking cracker, that one.Quote:

I even remember who I was going out with when 'Knock on wood' was doing the rounds in 1979. Wasn't it a cover though?
Yes it was a cover of an Eddie Floyd song which had also been covered by Mr. David Jones of Brixton in 1974.Quote:

Closely followed by Underworlds Dinosaur Adventure 3d or Cowgirl/Rez.
Have Dirty hits, and agree that the remixs are excellent, but I prefer the first cd with the original versionsQuote:

Not into dance music but if it is for me dancing like an idiot after several pints it has to be Come on Eileen by Dexy's, George Harrison's cover of Got My Mind Set On You, or the Stone Roses' I Am the Resurrection!
