Yeah ... was going to clean it up but .... it all had gone horribly wrong so no point.
Finn Harps Dublin Surporters Club Player Of The Year:
Gavin Cullen
Our player of the year was Harkin IMO.
Joxer was a joy to watch on occasion but got sent off too many times to be considered. He's probably the best player I've ever seen playing in this league and will be playing senior international football within two years at the most.
Farrelly had a very good season and O'Keefe made a big contribution over the last 8-10 games or so.
I'm so shocked to see that none of our former stars don't feature in the above proposed Shels top three. ;)
We voted on ours last night. It's basically a two man race between Mark Rutherford and Barry Murphy. From talking to people, I think the POTY will go to Rutherford, with Murphy picking up YoungPOTY.
Monaghan United:
Player of the Year: Keith Foy
Supporters Player of the Year: Keith Foy
Young Player of the Year: Ian Malone
Under 21: Stephen Finnegan
Bohs: Stephen Rice

Ours was

I voted for Mark Rutherford as he has been one of few who has given everything this season. Premature to give Barry the award as fridays mistake for the first goal proves he has a way to go yet. But he has been outstanding overall and democracy rules.
KOH
Stephen Gray won the drogs POTY
Simon Webb got runner up
Senior:Sean Dillion
U21:Alan O'Riordan
Bray's get announced on Friday night
Looked to me like he was prepared to kill, or at least maim, for the shirt...:)Quote:

We don't do a Young Player award for obvious reasons! New Player is generally open to players who made their debut in the past season.
Will try and find out the official awards.
Ours was.
POTY: David Mulcahy
YPOTY: Stephen Grant
GOTS: Vinny Sullivan v Derry City at the Brandywell, 29th October 2005.
There's official awards?:confused:Quote:

Our supporters club player of the year was Gavin Cullen
Ours aren't announced until Friday night.
But I can tell you that the Mad as Coote's Athlone Town FC Independent Supporters Club Player of the year was Robbie Hamm.
The official one is probably between Robbie Hamm and Damien Rushe
Supporters club awarded
Player of the year to Tommy Barrett
Young player of the year to Robbie Kelleher
Under 21 to Ger Bourke
